If we end up with this lot tonight it will be the worst selection of centre backs in the clubs entire history

    Ambrose, Boyata, Blackett, Mulgrew

    Id harbour a guess that it's because he's not a midfielder. He's a winger.

SSN have recycled this De Gea story since 9am and now we have Paul Merson who can't even pronounce his own name to guide us through another 2 hours

I've been watching Sky Sports for a good 3 hours now. Only one mention of Celtic - apart from the Van Dijk deal.

Reports that John Kennedy, John Collins and John Park are all at Celtic Park as we speak. "Something's going down" said a fan at the ground. A convention of Johns perhaps...?
No. Not that kind. For heaven's sake.

As much as I will never and could never 'turn off' my love for Celtic, I'm actually nearly at the stage of questioning why I bother supporting the club, both financially and in terms of emotional investment, when that level of financial backing and respect isn't reciprocated by the board to us, the fans. If the Simunovic deal (or another of a similar kind) doesn't go through, they'll have weakened our side considerably, yet again, and a lot of the time, effort and money we've pumped in to the club in recent times will feel (for me anyway) partly wasted.
We're the PLC's paying customers, and a massive part of Celtic's historical success, yet we let them rip us off continually, in a number of ways, not least in the transfer market.

This board sorely needs to bear in mind Jock Stein's famous remark about football being nothing without the fans, and we, as a community of emotional supporters and loyal customers, need to seriously start to consider voting with our feet for the good of the football club.
