Doubt we'll get any of those in, and continue to devalue our team. It's an awkward fact that fans prefer to dance around, but the likes of Ryan Christie will not put bums in seats, and will inevitably lose us supporters. Some may feel those type of fans arent worth crying over but it helps the club continue running.

So is that what we think'll happen then. We'll wait till the English deadline slams shut then have 6 hour's to bring a loan in from one of them?

It's shaping up that way at the minute. Whether we get it done is an entirely different matter altogether..

One of 3 would be great.

    Doubt it though.

Can't see us signing any of the names being mentioned. We just can't afford the wages these guys are on. We point blank refuse to pay players that kind of money, especially for a 1 year loan.

I suppose there's a very slight chance we might push the boat out a bit and one of the clubs might offset some of the cost. You can see how Norwich might see Hooper coming back here for a few months might be profitable for them, but realistically we need to get used to signing strikers from Scunthorpe or developing our own.

3 million for Walters rather spend it on him then Fletcher plus I imagine his wages aren't as high

Well when ye see clubs like Bristol city putting in bids of £9m for some guy called Andre Gray, it puts into perspective how hard a job we have to attract top players to Celtic.

I never seen Guidetti coming last year so I think we can expect something.

It COULD be a case of waiting for the Virgil caah to be sealed, then we have.....what.....5 hours to get a player in who might be on our radar?

Looks like Hooper joining Fulham on loan.

Stevie May going to Preston (for those that wanted him)

It's a clever strategy really, with what we're competing with..

Or even the Wanyama money. Extra couple of mill, we know is guaranteed, could sway whether it's a big name loan, or not. Unlikely but you never know..

Also a case of seeing whether we can get people off the wage bill that are surplus still..

It all depends on what the board are wanting from this season too.

We have more than enough quality to win the league. They've got 3 options:

1: Do they wait until next year to sign better players and try and get CL qualification?

    2. Sign them now or possibly January, giving them time to gel, therefore more likely to play better and hopefully get CL qualification?

    3. Make a good signing that pleases the fans, to keep them coming back and possibly try and get a run in the EL?

As much as we don't like it, our club is a business. PL's job is to do what's best for business... Fans are obviously a huge part but he may see spunking millions on a player and wages when we don't really need to (in terms of winning the league) as a waste of money.

Was quite confident we would spend some cash but as the hours tick away i genuinely am getting worried. Van Dijk out Siminovic in, then not much more seems to be happening. Im hoping that by 6pm and the english clubs deadline guys like fletcher and mcgeady might be deemed surplus to requirements and we can get a few deals pushed through for them. Wishful thinking maybe.
