Dinamo Zagreb have also got a couple of their own free goalscoring forwards.

One infact who was linked with us before going, El Arbi Hillel Soudani.

Duje Cop (centre forward) - 90 games, 52 goals, 14 assists.

El Arbi Hillel Soudani (right wing) - 55 games, 25 goals, 14 assists.

Junior Fernandes (left wing) - 45 games, 19 goals, 6 assists.

On top of that, they have loaned Angelo Henriquez from Man United.

Young Chilean striker who had a very good record back in Chile at Club Universidad de Chile (15 goals in 27 games) and with Chile U21 (10 caps 14 goals).

Oh, Dinamo vs Celtic... can't wait. We have some problems with the fans vs Mamic thing, but if the last game is going to decide who is going through, it will be full house, no doubt.. even if it snows :)

Btw. In Zagreb people like Celtic very much, and you'll be more than welcome here. I planned to go to Glasgow for the match, but unfortunately I can't.

Dinamo vs PAOK (late december 2010)

I thought we had a good draw, but as it turns out Salzburg and Dinamo both have players who can score goals, which automatically makes them better than us. :54:

I thought Salzburg would rip Malmo, didn't happen though.

I just think if Malmo can beat them 3-0, we could definitely get a result.

Once we get Broony back, Waka, Tonev and Scepovic added to the squad also.

I think all the 4 teams can take points from the rest, and all the 4 teams can qualify from this group. IMO it's quite balanced.

Astra is a good team, probably the 2nd best in Romania and not far from Steaua. They have good offensive players and solid midfielders. The weakest point in the team are the central defenders, quite slow.

In Lyon they destroyed the Frenchies with very fast counters...

They are the least favourites in this group, but not easy at all.

    Anybody going to Zagreb?

I want to go but been looking for flights and can barely find any, even decent ones to even near Croatia. Best ones seem to be from Glasgow to Amsterdam to Zagreb but either too expensive or 6-16 hour waiting times at Airports cant be arsed with that.

Yeah, I don't expect it to be easy mate. For us, it will depend on the new signings and how much they can improve us. We also get our captain back from injury, which should help, but we'll probably be selling our best centre half and the rest of our defense is just a mess at the moment. Plenty of time for improvement before the Astra game though.

I went to a festival in Croatia a few years ago and most people who were flying flew to Vienna

Not sure if that would help

Check there and Budapest, same kind of thing long layovers at airports. Would have been better if it was in September or October as theres a decent number of flights to Croatia and that from the Uk. Suppose who the * going to eastern Europe in december :56:

Ángelo Henríquez has something there but being at Man Utd has slowed his career. If he is on his game he is quick and agile. Good finish on him but we should be able to boss him physically (he may have bulked up since then though).

I also remember Leonardo Sigali being in a team of the season a while ago in Argentina. I think he just your standard Primera División defender, big and no nonsense. Not much skill or anything, just smash it away.

Quite good, hotels seem cheap there aswell. A 5 star hotel for 3 nights is £250. Meaning per person it's only under £250 for flights and 5 star accomodation :56:
