    These are the kind of deals we can't really afford to miss out on, a decent international striker from one of the lesser leagues in Europe who is in form and available well within our transfer and wage budget, young at 23 with plenty of time to improve.

    For £3m I can't think of many other strikers who have been in as good form as him recently.

    According to a couple of Polish journo's on twitter €4 million euro's was agreed and he's had a medical but we have bid last-minute. Deal has apparently stalled for some reason. Would love this to happen, get it done Pete.

    I wouldn't want to live in Ukraine atm. I wouldn't want to live there at any time tbh, one of my mates been there and said it's one of the most depressing places he's ever been to.

    Eto and Samba all lived in St. Petersburg then got flown im sure.

    Ukraine is currently a warzone, i think i would miss out on a few bob for my safety. Its not like he wouldn't earn a good salary here on 10-15k a week!

    They could offer him a better wage I suppose but they already have some decent forwards there for him to be up against.

    Lens, Mbokani, Kravets and Yarmolenko with another 3 out onloan. No idea how they set up mind.

    Griffiths hasn't been given a chance in his preferred position while Ronny has been manager. Stuck out on the left, never going to shine playing in that position.
