Strange that a guy who looks like one of Ghana's main players in the later stages of the AFCON can't get into our team.

It's definitely down to playing him in the wrong position.

30 caps and 9 goals at 24 for Ghana is very respectable.

Deserves a chance in a more central role.

 

Absolute pish! Technically it was a very good first touch and finish.

Guys from Africa maybe struggle a bit to integrate into the group, but Wakaso has helped to get us through the group stage of the Europa.

I'd say he's a useful player to have, he's very, very quick with a good left foot.
Powerful player as well.

If the price is £2million, i think it's an absolute steal. No doubt about it, he's one of Ghana's star players and his value could well increase, if he can get into the team.

 

Was it not more like £4 mil they were asking for to make it permanent?

He is clearly a good player. People who say he's technically pish are exaggerating as well, at the end of the day he is a pro footballer at a good level so he must have a good level of technical ability. I think he could be a really big part of our team, but I'm not sure who'd get dropped out to give him a place.

He's a good player but i think we are playing him wrong, also think he hasn't settles either had high hopes for this lad cause i think he could be a real game winning player on his day !

He is never going to make it here. Too many better players ahead of him in the queue now.

 

If we had just signed him in January and he was performing the way he is at the AFCON I'm sure a lot of us would be buzzing about him joining the team. I know you can't just dismiss any performances he's had for us so far but it's a different perspective.

 

I like him. More suited to Europe than the league.

 

He's obviously got a certain level of technical ability but its bang average. If he had good technical ability he'd be at one of the top European sides considering his engine and work rate.

 

For a guy with no technical ability he can fairly hit a free-kick
