They played all night. They knew they could defend and they knew they would get one chance. They got the chance and took it.

Maribor were much better organised and knew what they were trying to achieve.

As for us we were woeful. You can blame Ambrose for the goal but Izzaguire cleared the ball into the centre of he box. Why not knock the ball out for a corner??

No movement upfront, no quality on the ball,disjointed as a team and lacking a clear plan for the game.

The above in the Champions League would have been 6 hidings to nothing.

Time to suck it and see what we can achieve on a domestic level and some sort of showing in the Europa League.

In my opinion, Deila is now in the same position Lennon was in when he took over from Mowbray in 2010. Inheriting a squad that is mostly * with only a few good players.

Deila is going to need time to bring in his own players, so there's no point calling for him to be sacked after less than two months in the job. Who else are we going to get to replace him? What respected manager wants to come here and play in the Scottish Premiership in front of a half empty stadium every week?

It's time to do what we did in the summer of 2010 and begin another rebuilding process. Get rid of Pukki, Balde, Mulgrew, Ambrose and the rest of the idiots and start over again. The only way is up from here, we've been in worse positions before.
