The problem is that noe one is moving in position, and show they are interested to make a run forward. Both him and Kayal has to play the ball backwards or sideways because of that. Maribor players are all over them as soon as they get the ball. Movement without the ball is so important.

 

Only reason I didn't include him was because he's been pressing really well, hasn't been anything good right enough

Really worrying thing is that Ronny said he has put lot thought into game, team and set up. Says lot about him. Was expecting so much more.

 

1.Mulgrew is so one footed on the ball , poor vision and pace.
2.Ambrose lacks moving forward
3.Izzy poor pace and slow at putting crosses in
4.Stokes Useless as a lone striker
5. Berget too * SLOW
6. Johansen slack passing

Van Dijk , Mcgregor and Kayal are the players in this team that get pass marks.

Such a poor group of players. Our saving grace is they sat back and let us have possession at their ground. We simply can't cope when our players are closed down.

Mulgrew and Berget look like they're wearing lead boots. Ambrose is being Ambrose. Stokes is never good enough to play against anything bar SPL pish. Izaguirre is woeful nowadays. Johansen seems hellbent on gifting them a goal. Embarrassing Celtic team.

Kayal just shading it with Johansen , so I would take of Johansen ant put on commons push berget on a bit more , get mcgregor more involved second half , put ambrose back at cb , he is better closer to vvd

take mulgrew off for biton and berget for commons

or change to a 442 as the formation doesnt seem to be working for us either

Why take kayal off? Mulgrew has been an utter liability

 

A bit baffled as to what we're trying to achieve here. I get we are sitting in and trying to get them to come out a bit and counter. However we have no support up the park and Stokes is hopeless at holding the ball up and he wants to drop short all the time instead of running in behind. In fairness he's in good company tonight, nobody has shown much to shout about.

McGregor has shown a wee bit apart from that we've seen nothing of quality. Too many wrong decisions all over the place.

Ibrami is just floating in behind Kayal,Mulgrew and Johansen and neither is willing to pick him up.
