We sxored more goals against them last season than any other team. So they must have improved alot.

Berget and Denayer will improve us and hopefully be regular starters.

never mind the game on Tuesday this was a mingin display and I don't see where our "seconds" did anything to enhance their reputations. Zaluska needs to be replaced, and Commons is not the player he was under NL. If we don't get through on Tuesday ........???? I think Deila could be good for the club but that looks like a long term target in a short term world.

The worst thing is, if the players put away their chances today, we'd have heard nothing negative. That is outwith Ronny's control.

Forgot about Denayer, from the little we've seen of him he looks good, not yet good enough for the CL though, he's too young and weak.

I've seen nothing impressive from Berget despite his 2 goals vs Utd, so i'd say the jury's very much still out on him.

Tonev and Wakaso and all our 54 loan signings can't be worse than what we've got but we've still not signed a good striker since 2010.

The amount of dross clogging up our squad is horrendous. It says it all that McGregor, a 20 year old academy product, has been by far our player of the season thus far. He's putting far older and richer players like Stokes totally to shame.

Spot on. Hit the bar, keeper makes a great save from Commons and Pukki gets a nosebleed again when one on one.

Three that could have and probably should have been goals right there.

    This...:50:

That's the reality here. Half the team is utter *. Gordon - I actually think will be a cracking signing if he doesn't get injured. Some class saves in the last few games.

Time to face it too, certain players just don't cut it. Mulgrew for one. Utter *. Provides one good free kick every six to eight months and swans about the pitch like Pirlo.

The squad players were given a chance to play with the Maribor game in mind.

It was an experiment out of circumstance, that's fine.

The outcome, key players kept fresh for our most important game of the season and that was paramount.

A chance for squad players to show their worth in a competitive match in which they failed to do so.

At least everyone knows where they stand, fans, players, management and board. Yes it was only one game but these guys are professionals and showed a distinct lack of desire to prove they have what's required to be considered for the first team.

What happens with them is obviously up to Ronny Deila, persist and try coach them to betterment or get them tae *.

Really would like to see the back of Zaluska, Rogic, McGeouch, Balde and Pukki. Just saying.

You are utterly, utterly clueless if you keep defending people like Stokes & Mulgrew just because they're tims.

Show me one thing Pukki, for instance, has done better than Henderson in their respective game time? Young Liam didn't let himself down today, and has played well

Also, as I mentioned before, Neuer was a complete spectator given Bayern's dominance last season, if you watched football you'd be aware of this fact.

Bring forth your peaches, oh wise footy lord?

It's doom!! Doom, I tell thee! At least we are all passionate abou tour club.

Not dismayed at all about the result, Disappointed the replacement players didn't really show much but I'm sure Ronny has us going in the right direction. Personally think, every manager who comes in learns the "you can't change, practically, an entire team for Europe" lesson and think Ronny will have learned now. 2 or 3 changes at most and injuries is a risk we have to take.

Need Left back cover though, obviously. Surprised this hasn't shown us up the past 2/3 years. Shows the consistency of Izzy I suppose.

But you have to take risks, playing it safe will only get you so far in football. Plus emilio isnt the most Injury prone player tbh its the playets like forrest that you have to play it safe with and rest him emilio though should be able for it
