In the sense of what's considered dangerous in the modern era I mean (post tragedies such as Hillsborough). And in the sense of what's defined as dangerous by authorities. I'm regularly in much worse at gigs and stuff.

Remember if health and safety regulations state something (I'm assuming they do), whether you agree or not if you're the boss you must follow the regulations. If PL ignores it he could find himself in serious trouble. Likewise the stadium could be closed.

    Again though,

Out of interest, why do you think PL doesn't like the GB?

Go to a match in Germany. Everyone stands. Everyone jumps about. Surprisingly, no one dies.

Introduce safe standing, everyone's a winner. People can stand and others can stop whining like little * about them doing it.

When I said it looks dangerous, I meant in the sense of what's considered dangerous by our rules. I know I wasn't clear. If I made the rules, I would allow it.

Everyone knows health and safety has gone mad in this country. It doesn't mean we can ignore it and not expect consequences.

If the club had any balls they'd go ahead with the safe standing proposals and ignore the councils ruling. What could they realistically do about it?

    Realistically? Close the stadium.

Well if it's not and we all know it's not (60,000 were doing it when Tony Watt scored the winner against Barcelona), then why should we stop? The club, as far as I know, have not been warned about it or sanctioned by the authorities so...

You're not allowed to stand, you're not allowed to move, you're not allowed to sing... seriously, what's the point in going to a football match? If we lived life by the rule book, it'd be pretty * boring.

If the club installed safe standing the stadium would get closed?

I don't think there is any chance this would happen. :56:

When the authorities tried to eradicate fan culture in Germany, the fans told them to * off. People here want to see us acquiesce to their every demand.

I don't disagree. I was desperate to see the standing section approved. I'm sure it's being pursued to solve this problem so hopefully it gets sorted.

    Aye that's the ticket.

Apply for safe standing but get refused? * it - do it anyway.

Here's me thing this was a discussion, when in reality it's the * insane ramblings of someone detached from the * world and how it works.

Aye, PL should just tell the authorities to * right off and let the GB do as they please. Is this the scenario when you stop * about it aye?

Might be a long wait mind :50:

And this is a group that want to enter into "negotiations" with Celtic is it? No offence Jinky I seriously hope you're not one of their representatives mate :smiley-laughing002:

Too right mate, glad you agree.

Time to stop this panty wetting culture before real fan culture is completely destroyed.

It would happen. If you don't get the boxes ticked by the health and safety folk, your event gets shut down.

At best that section would be closed and the whole thing is pointless.

I'd like to see the club show some backbone for once.

Going ahead with the safe standing could shame the council into approving it.

    Real fan culture :56::56::56:

"I better get to do what I want or I'll scweem and scweem and scweem"

You's are the Legia Warsaw of Cetic fans. Outraged that you don't get your own way, struck senseless by a huge sense of self-entitlement and lashing out at everyone because it could never be YOUR fault of course. And of course your answer to eveything: ignore those pesky rules, don't worry it'll be fine.

And when it ALL goes * up, * and moan even more :smiley-laughing002:

It would if the council didn't pass it off.

And they don't have the glasgow council.
