Some scary pace would be just terrific, especially away in the CL - always loved how agathe scared the pants off teams in europe, even teams of pedigree, Ajax etc. To be fair, he wasn't much of a player, ok at best, but we used his pace to blistering effect, just simply play him through, he bolts by half the team in a flash, then a simple lay-off to the middle where a combination of Larsson, Sutton or Hartson was there to clean up.

Different times, and agate was a wing-back so had less to do with short, intricate passing, but hopefully the lad's got the goods, and for once, we actually use it!

Celtic are working on a deal to sign Ghana winger Mubarak Wakaso on loan from Russian club Rubin Kazan.
The Scottish champions hope to complete the move in time to register the 24-year-old for Wednesday's Champions League play-off against Maribor.
Celtic were also interested in Stoke City striker Cameron Jerome.
But the Glasgow club are not optimistic of securing the 28-year-old as they believe the Englishman would prefer to remain in his homeland.
Jerome, who began his senior career with Middlesbrough before spells with Cardiff City and Birmingham City, spent last season on loan to Stoke's Premier League rivals, Crystal Palace.
Wakaso, who has 19 caps for his country, appeared as a substitute in Ghana's 2-2 draw with Germany during this summer's World Cup finals in Brazil.
He has been with Rubin Kazan in Russia's top flight since summer 2013, having previously played for Espanyol in Spain.
Wakaso began his career with Ashanti Gold in his homeland before moving to Spain, first with Elche then Villarreal before switching to Espanyol in 2012.
Celtic have until 23:00 on Tuesday to register the winger if they wish him to play in either of the two legs against Maribor.

For me this feels like a signing that could potentially take us to the next level in the champions league. A player with real pedigree, you can't be * if you've made at la liga level and earned a big money move to a decent russian club, also finished joint top scorer in the african cup of nations. Exciting times ahead folks.

My wee cousin whos 17 has a pal whos also 17 who looks older than me and im 23. And when I met him he was 16 he came into the house and she was saying thats her pal and I was looking at him like * he looks about 25+ and he was 16. Had full beard, a sleeve tattoo up his arm and they mad earring things and was about 6ft. Id a honestly guess he was older than me. I imagine he could have got served in pubs when he was about 14.

Tbh thats the only way I get excited over a player we are linked with now because ive used him on fifa otherwise ve probably not heard of him

Okay so let's hear your logic for this?

 

Just from what I'm hearing played a central role before moving to his current club. Could be good in that position fast strong could be good for link up/hold up play between the midfield and the lone striker we are playing esp when most our strikers we have are fairly light weight. His pace would also give us someone going threw the middle on the counter attack which could be very handy in Europe. Just an idea not saying he is going to come in and take Commons place just another option where we could use him.
