I appreciate the fact that football fora are not exactly places known for intellectual depth or sophisticated thought, but the primitive, neanderthal nonsense spouted about Legia on this forum is truly appalling.

As to the subject of this thread: twelve European teams have played in Kazakhstan in this edition of European cups, and only two of them, Villareal and Legia, managed to win their games.

Because of the horrible mistake, about which everything has already been written here, Legia will not play in the Champions League this year, but you only just wait, UEFA, it's only a question of time and we will burst into your * Champions League like a bulldog into a henhouse. See you then.

Legia's supporters were overly smug when they won and they're now overly whingey and aggressive when they got found out.

I'm assuming you mean by the bolded bit, that your lot will cause chaos, then that'll really show your club up for what it has a reputation for (rightfully or wrongfully btw, I'm not here to discuss that it's none of my business.) However, if you mean by building a team and shocking Europe with some good performances then fair enough, you would deserve it in that case.

However, I assume you mean the first scenario, and that is why a lot of Celtic fans laughed at Legia over this, their attitude has just been very, for the lack of a better term, Hun-like if you get me.

You's may deem the rule a bit silly, fair enough, but every other club abides by them with very few if any problems at all. Your own players were a bit suspicious about the eligibility of Bereszynski, but as you say, this has been discussed at length previously on here.

As for being happy about how we qualified, no I doubt any of us are. We got a laugh at Legia's expense, it's football, of course there'll be jokes made about it. We aren't happy at how we qualified, but a lot of people are happy to have a second chance, even when in reality, on the pitch we didn't deserve it.

To be angry about all this is natural, but just think, that the day you make the CL groups, it'll feel even sweeter after all this madness. :smiley-laughing002:
