He was rather shaky defensively in the first half, had 3 moments where he * up but it never cost us. Didn't make any mistakes in the second half.

 

Dont like to be negative with a game like that today but we need to be better defensively , we are wide open at times and against a better team would on the wrong end of a similar scoreline .
we are definitely finding our feet atm , and if we have faith in the manager and the players fully trust his methods and the way he wants things I see a bright future for us , but a note of caution here we have to build the trust and confidence and results will help , so the defensive part has to be better for it to work ,

 

Forrest will be out for another 6 months again

 

Best home performance in a long long time, what a game

 

Nothin to say that hasn't been said already other than commiserations to Jackie Mac.

He puts the team out to play positive football and that made our game much easier to play the football we did. If he played defensive, it could have been a harder and boring game.

Neil McCann had some good insights and spoke very highly of us. Good slant on why James gets injured so much and reading the riot act to the board about getting Deila the cash for a goal machine. Top Tim is Neil!

 

My MOTM would have been one of Kayal, Izzy, Berget or van Dijk.

Overall fantastic performance!!. Hopefully it will get even better, however we still need a striker and our defence needs to improve.

 

Ah that was good, what football should be all about hiy.. Best thing for me today was the abillity to score from set pieces no had that from strachan. Keep developing at this rate, get a striker in and we could do well in europe if we play like that each time..

Great performance today by the whole team today not one poor performance by any of the players. Was hoping that Gordon would manage another clean sheet but he couldn't do anything about the deflection. Very impressed with Denayer, good on the ball, very quick and puts in some fantastic tackles. Kayal was brilliant when he came on, looked like his old self. Great delivery from Stokes for the goals. Johansen played much better today than against St Johnstone. Berget getting two goals as well, should of had 3 or 4 but he smashed it against the bar and volleyed one over from about 8 yards. Izzy was great today, was back to the way he was in his 1st season with us. Disappointed with Forrest picking up that injury, no matter if he plays 90 minutes or 20 minutes he always picks up an injury! Think McCann was spot on when he said about Forrest's posture, he always looks like the Hunchback of Notre dame when he runs!
