Typical nat reaction - attack and slag off anyone who doesn't agree. If salmond actually realised others have an opinion then he'd probably get more votes.

Imaginary borders....they cause so many problems in the world. Someone drawing an imaginary border doesn't make a country - its a shame the mentality of people in this country is to blame and take because they think they're entitled!

Well, yes, it does. That's the very essence of a country. :smiley-laughing002:

We think we're entitled to democracy, that's what we think.

Also, an independent Scotland would be more open to immigration and less insular than the United Kingdom, which is increasingly drifting to the right of the political spectrum.

As has been said millions of times already - A. Yes. Vote. Is. Not. A. Vote. For. Alex. Salmond.

A border between Scotland and England has existed for hundreds of years. It will continue to exist regardless of the outcome of the Referendum.

There's no way I would take the bribe suggested by the OP. The idea that I'll wake up on the 19th and hear that the majority of people in Scotland believe we are incapable of making our own decisions fills me with dread, but it would confirm my belief that Scots are a pretty cowardly bunch in general. The idea of Scottish independence means a lot more to me than football in all honesty.

I have just been contacted and completed a mori poll on Independence. I Thought these things did not actually exist. I asked when the results would be published and who commissioned the poll but they are not at liberty to say when/if or who asked for the survey to be conducted. All they would say was it was just this evening and a sample of people had been selected
They seemed very interested on issues surrounding finance/economy/currency and if I would be likely to change how I was going to vote.

As for the over 65's maybe euthanasia :97: :smiley-laughing002:

Aye any that are voting just because they support a team are pretty much a lost cause as they clearly have not much sense. They will likely be were the spoilt ballot papers come from as well, not having the brains to complete the thing.

Can I ask why you are voting no ?

"More open to immigration" said who?
Scotland is one of the most racist countries you'll get based on the attitude of the people living in it.

I know there's money in the BPL but that's all it is sole less gutless money that at the end of the day would only fatten lawwells pocket.

I would rather have an independent Scotland and Celtic reduce the wage bill so that teams could compete than another minute in the hands of of Cameron and the tori cronies.

I doubt that it would make any difference at all. As far as UEFA are concerned we are already separate countries. Berwick Rangers aren't going to be kicked out of Scottish football if the referendum passes. Also, Derry City play in the League of Ireland, so there is a precedent there as well.

Those other teams are not a threat to the league they are playing in.
celtic would be a huge threat in the epl and no matter what they say in public they do not want us joining.
If it was going to happen it would have already.

Don't label everyone in scotland because of some knuckle dragging morons.

You try getting into the uk once ukip are in power, and trust me they are making headway and the next gov will most likely be tory/ukip coalition see how that works out.

If the vote is yes then in years to come our political system will be awash with Protestant parties and politicians trying to redo the union. It will mirror in the opposite direction of Salmonds crusade. It will be a constant struggle to keep us free.
I have always wanted independence but I am nervous about the religious, political powder-keg.
I often worry what would happen at a Scottish only general election. Billy Boyne favourite for the Scottish unionist party.....we are very out numbered.
