@celticfc: RD on Tom Rogic: He's a great player and a great person. He works really hard and has been very unlucky with injuries in the last year.

Looks like there's a right good player there. I hope he stays fit. Not too late for him on that evidence.

His finish pre-match was pretty silly as well.

Everybody knows there is alot of technical ability in there but he just needs the fitness sharpness and to stay clear of injury. He could be like a new signing for us (Mulgrew isnt like a new signing)

Was he in the bank of 2 in midfield tonight?

could he be the reserve for Biton with Hendo for brown

or does everyone think he would be better in the 3 behind the striker?

That bracket is the most random thing I've ever seen on here. :smiley-laughing002:

How does that in any way relate to the thread?

Seemed to interchange with Henderson a lot. Definitely looked better spraying it about from deeper.

He is a talented lad, I think most people here would agree, it's his fitness and commitment that's been the problem.

    Here's hoping he comes good.

    sounds good

if he keeps his fitness from what (know it's been little)we've seen wouldn't mind him covering Biton when needed as the sort of deep lying playmaker (sorry for FM talk) role for us in the 2

He looked a lot stronger than the last time I saw him play. He's obviously put on a bit of muscle while recovering from last season's injury. Strength and skill should make him a valuable player this season.

Fitness under the management now shouldn't be a problem unless he gets a serious injury.., I think when Lennon was manager we wernt great with the fitness side. A lot of injuries, hooper n commons kinda chubby... Emilio got fairly hefty for a while aswell... I know commons n hooper have a stocky build but under deila commons and izzy seemed to have got more lean

All debutants performed admirably and the manager was also praising of midfielder Tom Rogic, who started the match after missing a year of football through injury.
“He's a great player and a great person,” he added. “He works really hard and has been very unlucky with injuries in the last year.
“Now we have control over his body and you can see what kind of player he is. There's a reason why he got brought to Celtic and he's very hungry to show what is in him.
“Today he played excellent and you can see he's so good at scanning and getting his touch forward.
“He looked very quick today as well and his footwork is getting better every day. He's going to improve with more training.”

Could be a big season for him.

    I forget he's only 22.

That's true, but it has absolutely nothing to do with the Rogic thread.

The quote doesn't even mention Rogic.

You have took your joy at Rogic playing well and inexplicably spliced it with a dig at Mulgrew.

    It makes absolutely no sense.

Anyway, Rogic played well tonight but I will reserve judgement for the time being.

Good question, can only have 1 or two left maybe one with an option of another.

He's running out of time to make an impression here I think, it's this season or bust probably.
