The problem is half of our players don't thrive in the system Ronny wants to implement.

He has a lot of improving to do I think before he'd be first choice for us, has the ability though elegance and class on the ball but he's stiff as * and looks to have no energy or agility, would make Charlie Adam look like a combination of Usain Bolt and a Ballerina.

I think he is too slow to fit into ronnies system, he also holds on to the ball too long, time will tell, but I cant see him making it at celtic.

Whether technically is everything or not or somewhere in between depends on the league, in particular how much protection referees give players and the tactics a coach employs. Nakamura also had speed and a stinging shot rogic doesnt have either of these (though he is a good finisher due to his accuracy and he has a good change of pace)

A lot of aussies feared that rogic might get lost at celtic and one of the best players we have produced could disappear into obscurity

What I am being told about the new coach sounds promising although I must warn you when coaches initially started implementing this sort of system in australia a lot of fan favourites players found on the outer which start bitterly complaining because results go backwards for 6 to 18 months. Fans get frustrated and call for the coaches head
    its a fun journey

Its surprising how players can adapt even at a late age to a possession system given 12 months or so

but typically a few fan favourites will be on the outer

particularly vulnerable are goal keepers and cbs who are expected to play the ball out the back under pressure and defensive midfielders who are expected to make over 100 passes per game at around 95% accuracy

if they are a "big lad" with "lots of desire" that "like to get stuck in" (as a lot of our mids were described by coach before our league started to change) they could struggle

speaking of dms australia has a young boy there in jackson irvine - thought he looked good for oz u20s though he struggled to lose his marker. He needs to work on his off the ball game more but looked good on the ball. Maybe not celtic level but he is suited to a possession style. Maybe australia might be in luck and have 2 aussies playing champions league at celtic :)

Need to give the guy a chance, all I have heard is that he has lots of potential but hes not shown anything special as of yet. Hope he comes good!

Still recovering from surgery I believe. I assume he is on low wages and has no value on the transfer market given he's still recovering, it would be silly to see if he doesn't fit into the new system.

I know FFS, imagine Harry Kewell telling Craig Conway how to be a left winger or Tim Cahill telling Kenny Miller how to play up top himself.

    Stupid Australians.

Aye and we see where the Norwegian is bringing us to .....mid table ?
Kewell was the fastest to the treatment table and Cahill shared his knowledge with Moyes .

I want Rogic to return to Celtic soon. If Deila's reputation of being able to improve players' performances is correct, his pet project should be Rogic. I think Rogic has potential and should be given another chance to establish himself at Celtic PLC.
