as the CB's next season that has to be the best in the EPL in terms of squad depth

 

He just seems to go about his business like a seasoned pro, even during games he looks like he's been playing first team football for a while. He is a great prospect and so long as he continues to do well for us then bringing him in on loan will have been a great move for all parties.

He still has a way's to go before he would be ready for Man City's starting 11, although he could do a job for them on the bench right now I think. The partnership he's made with Virgil was pretty instantaneous and gets better every week.

Would love to see him stay for another season, especially if Virgil goes elsewhere I would love to keep him on loan.

 

Would mean they have 3 great ball playing defenders and all 4 are big strong fast defenders. Would be some squad indeed.

 

Does he reckon he can make the City squad do you think?

Surely you are old enough and wise enough to know that the Daily Record always puts the doubt into Celtic fans mind during the build up to a big name . The fact that Celtic are soaring high in the good feeling clouds , means that the Daily Record felt it had to put the boot into Celtic a few days earlier than normal before a big game . Look out for more disasterous news about Celtic or Celtic players before the Inter Milan game .

 

Our main CB pairing leaving in the summer could be an absolute disaster.

Don't think he'll be in the city squad next year, just depends where city want to loan him too. Realistically I can see a team like Sunderland coming in for him and ruining any chances of us having him for another year

Also he is not going to be here IMO and people are over hyping him to *, he has done well here I will give him that but he is not the player people are making out he is and is not ready for City's first team cause he has been bullied with players at times up here and the EPL are miles a head of us with players ect he would be found out fast.

Now he would need more first team football IMO at a lower end side in the EPL to learn more and get on his feet in that league.

 

Doing good up here, bit overhyped gives away far too many freekicks when it isn't necessary. He will not make the city team next season he'll be a reserve or back on loan.

I would read nothing into the quotes.
He obviously hopes to be in city first team next season.
His view is he is going back in the summer. Obviously unless we negotiate an extension.

Don't think any PL clubs would take a gamble on him yet, so it's a win/win situation for us, him and city if he came back and helped us make the groups next season.

Wether he sees it that way is a different story though, seems a bit overly ambitious.

 

This is what i thought aswell didn't he come out a few month back say that while he's here he will give us 100% but the long term he sees himself at city we always knew he was going back this isn't news at all
