Illegia's UEFA appeal fails - Going to CAS. FAILS AGAIN

Are you going to ignore about 100 posts in various threads today that say what you keep posting on here constantly isn't going to happen?

At least 3 threads from about 11pm last night onwards you have been peddling this *. It isn't going to happen, no matter how much you believe it.

Wonder what UEFA is doing.
I think it all started from a conversation between Platini and Infantino:
Gianni: Michel, I will bet you that a team which wins 4 qualifying games in Champions League still doesn`t get into the group stage! If I win then you got to shave your head:
Platini: (concentrating for a while....) Wait, that would just mean you need to throw them out after winning last leg. Too easy, no bet!
Gianni: Ok then. How about this: you will shave your head if a team that loses all of their qualification games gets into the champions league!

Platini ran out of ideas how that could happen so agreed. Now UEFA refuses to fast track an arbitration in CAS.
On monday CAS makes a decision to reinstate Legia, because everybody knows that Celtic can`t beat Maribor. Legia does the dirty work (winning on the field), then CAS meets again for final hearing, reinstates Celtic and volia! Gianni wins the bet!

That seems to be most likely scenartio. If not then Celtic and Legia meet in Europa League.

Anyway, humors on Legia`s side are very good. They are steamrolling through each opponent and fans get to watch quality football every week.
Honestly feel sorry for Celtic fans that have to seat through 90 minutes every couple of days watching their team play like * and not even be able to exchange couple of passes under some decent pressing.

 

Why would they entertain option 2?

The punishment isn't severe. It's standard. It'd be severe if their punishment was expulsion from Europe. It isn't. That's just the consequence of their punishment which was a 3-0 forfeit. The rulebook states that any fielding of a suspended player automatically results in a forfeit. They were ignorant to the rules and it's cost them. As for the scoreline... it's completely irrelevant. The other misconception is that the player only played a few minutes and didn't impact the match. The rule wasn't breached for a few minutes but rather 90 minutes.
