Is damian13ster's your real name or is it Jack Shitt?

you sure don't know Jack Shitt and reminds me of the you know Jack Shitt story origins.

Jack Schitt is the only son of Awe Schitt. Awe Schitt, the fertilizer magnate, married Miss O. Needeep They had one son, Jack.

In turn, Jack Schitt married Noe Schitt. The deeply religious couple produced six children: Holie Schitt, Giva Schitt, Fulla Schitt, Bull Schitt, and the twins Deap Schitt and Dip Schitt.

Against her parents' objections, Deap Schitt married her cousin Dumb Schitt, a high school dropout. After being married 15 years, Jack and Noe Schitt divorced.

Noe Schitt later married Ted Sherlock, and, because her kids were living with them, she wanted to keep her previous name. She was then known as Noe Schitt Sherlock.

Meanwhile, Dip Schitt married Loda Schitt, and they produced a son with a rather nervous disposition named Chick N. Schitt.

Two of the other six children, Fulla Schitt and Giva Schitt, were inseparable throughout childhood and subsequently married the Happens brothers in a dual ceremony. The wedding announcement in the newspaper announced the Schitt-Happens nuptials.

The Schitt-Happens children were Dawg, Byrd, and Hoarse. Bull Schitt, the prodigal son, left home to tour the world. He recently returned from Italy with his new Italian bride, Pisa Schitt.
Now when someone says, "You don't know Jack Schitt," you can tell them the origins.

There should be room for common sense in the rules though. Why does the rule for ineligible players allow for common sense by saying the game may be forfeit but the rule for playing suspended players says the game must be forfeit? For me there should be some sort of good faith clause, if a team * up and makes a paperwork mistake like Legia and then play a suspended player who they believed to be eligible they shouldn't receive such a ridiculously harsh punishment imo. There needs to be room within the rules to evaluate each situation on its individual merits, Legia gained no benefit by their breaching the rules so kicking them out of the competition makes no sense.

I agree with you that there is no grey area as the rules are currently written though.

Either armoured cars or helicopters ha. Not half racking up risky away European trips lately. Sure beats Barcelona for the 100th time haha.

Ajax & Legia some mobs to be hated by..:smiley-laughing002:

Celtic has no case so they dont have to agree to anything.
UEFA didnt agree, but it doesnt mean that much in contrary to what some people think. It just creates more mess.
CAS can still meet. They can make a decision even before the final hearing. If they say that Legia will have to be reinstated then UEFA has to do it, and it could be changed once more after actual hearing with both sides involved is heard. Dont get UEFA. I thought they would want it to be over by monday instead of drag on for couple of months.

Also, I know its out of topic, but during European Championships in Leigh Atheltic, french runner won 3000m with obstacles by a mile. In fact, he had such a big advantage that he started celebrating on last straightaway by taking his shirt off. He got disqualified 2 hours after event.........
And thats for showing human emotion, even though they were better ways to do it.......how can you penalize for that?
Once more the best athlete by a mile (proven during competition) didnt win

Its exactly other way around. UEFA`s appeal board never changes the decision made by UEFA. It was required to exhaust appeal process in UEFA, allowing you to go to CAS. And the board knows that, since even before the decision they were talking that final verdict will be by CAS.

If UEFA gave you a fine then you would have shrugged it off and merrily continued with your qualifiers. To me that is not a good punishment. This does not put out the message that what you have done is against the rules. Now you have been thrown out and clearly you have been annoyed by it. You have been so hurt by this decision that it's safe to say you will be making sure that this rule is never broken again, yes? This means that UEFA have successfully made sure that the rules will be followed in the future. This means that UEFA have given a punishment appropriate for this crime.

Now stop sprouting guff and leave.

A fine for cheating is in no way appropriate punishment, they won't win this appeal either.

    The games up!

Genuine question. Has their EVER been a suspended player who has played which hasn't resulted in a 3 nil forfeit?

There is absolutely no way this can be overturned as it would bring the entire rule on fielding suspended players into question. Small-minded club trying to act big when in reality they * up.

I would imagine if the cheating team had lost the tie
then eufa would have probably let the result stand.

I would still ban illegia for a few years for the * they
are trying to cause & their unwillingness to accept & play within
    the competition rules.
