what is the ground for legias appeal? is it they didn't realise he was suspended, or they think the rule is unfair and are trying to overturn it that way.

Damian, the rule is not complicated at all.

Bearing in mind that every player has to be registered, surely not registering a player is either intentional or a massive blunder.

You can't be suggesting that Legia did not know the rule as they have had players suspended before.

Legia fans have fallen for this line that the Legia management have been attempting to promote, that the rules aren't "clear".

That this punishment has never happened before.

That if it was Celtic they would have not been punished.

These are all complete lies. It's been spun to turn the * storm into a marketing campaign. In the eyes of a fan backlash, they look for people to blame. They are coached by the media officer, whatever you say, don't admit anything.

You only have to look at today's headlines telling the media that Berg ranted down the phone at Deila and it's been spun as Deila agreeing with them. More lies.

This is why we don't communicate. Any communication and Legia go straight to press and anything is handed over to lawyers.

The simple truth is every club in the Champions' League know how to register players who have been suspended. Including Legia. To pretend that it is a grey area is complete bullshit. He sat out the games, but wasn't registered.

This means another player can take his place as being registered, which is part of the punishment for violent conduct. It's to affect the team, the squad as well as the player.

What part of that did we understand last season when we had players banned in the Champions' League? Every single part of it. Players were registered and sat out games. We didn't rock out and just be like, fuckit, it's a grey area.

Save your breath mate , he's waiting for the next soundbite
from the muppets in charge of his club.

He's peddled the, 'grey area', 'technically', 'supposed', 'may',
    'unintentional', 'massive world backlash',& just
tried to muddy the waters, when in fact it's
his club that's at fault & have had justice done in line
with the penalty that was clearly set out when they entered the
    competition.

I knew someone would mention that.

I did consider that Scotland play Poland in October and Ireland not until next year. Ireland v Poland is their last game before the Eng/Scot double header and the last of the current season. Only Huns hold bitterness for that long. :smiley-laughing002:

TALK about a schoolboy error. This is the moment French athlete Mahiedine Mekhissi-Benabbad blew his chance of European steeplechase glory after whipping his top off to celebrate on the home straight.
In a bizarre incident the pre-race favourite broke the rules by removing his vest, putting it in his mouth and waving to the crowd with around 100m still to go.
Mekhissi-Benabbad won the race in 8 min 7.45 secs - but was shown a yellow card by the officials in Zurich and disqualified.
It had looked like the 29-year-old had got away with the incident only for an appeal from Spain to see him lose the title and their man Angel Mullera promoted to the bronze medal position and Yoann Kowal of France taking gold.
Watch Mekhissi-Benabbad's moment of madness in the player above.

Has Polish athlete Krystian Zalewski already refused his silver medal following the decision on Mekhissi-Benabbad?

You would be surprised. Local Slask & Wisla attacked Seville in Cardiff the other night, in revenge for Seville splattering them and stealing their banners about 2 years ago.

I suspect the bitterness to last a good few years. :smiley-laughing002:

to drum up support & muddy the waters.

They have been played with by Eufa.:56::56::56::56::56:

I honestly hope Eufa ban them for 5 years just to see their reaction
    & prolong the laughter.
