    I'm not picky.
I read earlier in the thread that CAS cannot overrule UEFA's decision. All they can do with this situation is throw it back to UEFA to have another look at it.

I wouldn't worry about it....UEFA has made the correct decision twice now. Think it's about time that Legia fans woke up and smelled the coffee that they * up and that's all there is to it.

Yeah I think I seen that as well mate, not sure if that's true though. I remember Sion used the so called "fast track" method, and they never got an answer on their case until December. Was interesting to hear the guy from CAS say they could have a decision within a couple of days.

The CAS cant actually do anything to anybody, they are just an independant mob who people appeal to when sporting organistations do stuff to clubs/players/sportsmen. And most Sporting organisations apply some of their stuff if they think its fair enough but nobody has to do anything.

Like the CAS could come out and say Legia should be reinstated. Then UEFA could come out and say the CAS are a laughing stock, full of fannies and get it right up the lot of them and that would be it. The CAS have no ruling over anything.

Nah by virtue of doing nothing and letting UEFA follow their own rules, we have done irreversible damage to our clubs reputation which will have far reaching consequences in terms of future merchandise revenues. How do we know this? Erm well this story was mentioned in some New York and Frankfurt newspaper. Legia are now famous the world over and will go from strength to strength.

Should say the above is the absolute bullshit that Legia fans were coming away with the past few days.

Would be very strange if CAS reversed a correct decision though. Would make a complete mockery of the rules and the game if CAS overturned this.

Because they are independant from any sport and seen as fairer.

Sporting organistations are basically a big facade of nothing. If UEFA fined Cristiano Ronaldo £1million for doing a * on the pitch in the CL final and rubbing it in someones face, he wouldnt have to pay anything it would just mean UEFA could ban him for ever playing again, but there is little legal stuff involved in football.

It is essentially like you owning you're own house and deciding what happens in it, if its within the law you can do what you want, like ban certain people from coming into you're house.

The CAS are not a legal organisation or a real court or anything. They could give their own opinions on anything and nothing would matter.

We could appeal to them over wanting Standing Sections and they could say they think it should be allowed but it would make 0 differance.

They are nothing. It was mad seeing on SSN earlier that Suarez thing with the CAS, technically FIFA could still snub the CAS and say * off, we're keeping the ban. FIFA still need to say aye fair enough we'll allow you to attend matches and train but they might not, the CAS thing means heehaw if FIFA dont want it to.

    UEFA's statement:

"The UEFA Appeals Body met yesterday following an appeal by Legia Warszawa against the decision taken by the UEFA Control, Ethics and Disciplinary Body on 8 August.
"The appeal lodged by the Polish club was rejected and, therefore, the original decision of the UEFA Control, Ethics and Disciplinary Body is confirmed.
"The Control, Ethics and Disciplinary Body had sanctioned Legia for fielding a suspended player (Article 18 of the Regulations of the UEFA Champions League, 2014/15 competition, and Article 21 of the UEFA Disciplinary Regulations, 2014 edition) in the 2014/15 UEFA Champions League third qualifying round return leg against Celtic FC in Edinburgh on 6 August. That match has been declared as a forfeit, meaning Legia lost 3-0."

    No surprise, really.
