    * it people. Stop being so stubborn. If decision gets overturned then
    Legia- Maribor
    Celtic- Aktobe
Its in the rules of UEFA that if such situation arises, the coefficient of the team thats higher in UEFA ranking (and/if the walkover was in their favor) is used for a draw, and then the matchups can be reaplaced. There is no new draw!

UEFA should apply the rules, not look for loopholes because the rules do not suit a party.

but then legia will have taken a seeded berth which should have been given to ludogorets..

so by making an * of it legia are rewarded. that dosen't seem right, does it ?
maybe then, legia will do the right thing and forfit the match. after all you've been shouting about ''doing the right thing'' for the last week.

Do you think UEFA are not announcing the decision because we have got a game tonight and if bad news it may affect players going into the game?

Like uefa would walk around looking for loop holes....look for them to close them...but that is it.

Lol what? Legia fans think they deserve to be just thrown into a match against another unseeded team like Maribor while Ludogorets suffer as a result of Legia's cheating? This is such nonsense..... how is any of that "letting football win"?

Cannot wait until this whole episode is over, probably won't hear from Legia Warsaw ever again hopefully.

no we arent sevco or charles green....its just Uefa being dicks as usual..

And good point above : if legia went through would they do the honorable thing and forfeit the game as they shouldnt be playing that team as they woulda been unseeded?

    wanks.....so they are

Mate, id say what u say, its a UEFA decision, if they reverse it, not our problem they did a mess announcing their first "verdict" without reading their own rules like art 20, 17 (1,2) etc, which would allow them to suspend or reduce the punishment. U lost 1:6 and say its uefa not us, we´d say the same

But don´t worry mate, chances are small, not gona happen in uefa :50:

If they over rule their initial decision clubs will be expecting the same treatment in years to come. Hope UEFA have a back bone and stick to their guns.

If they reverse it does that mean Barca can just play Suarez?

It has nothing to do with setting a precedent.
If Legia can point out an inconsistency in the current regulations, then we might see the regulations be clarified for this season, and formally altered for the following seasons. In the "real world", laws get interpreted and reinterpreted by courts all the time.

Also, the "but UEFA would have to redraw everything" line is getting a bit old. Draws don't get changed, as a team you simply get the vacated spot assigned to you.

How would forfeiting a game to Maribor be a right thing? Dont follow your logic man.
Wouldnt say they are rewarded. Probably shitload spent on lawyers, tons of stress, less times for preparation, trip for Kazkhstan isnt cheap either so financial loss as well.
Trust me. Legia didn't want any of this. They just wanted to prepare for a game with whoever they get in the draw (I think they would get by everyone, maybe except Red Bull Salzburg), after beating Celtic 6-1.
And for all of you crying 'rules are rules'. Loophole means there is another rule that can be used to overpower/negate the rule which says that team has to be disqualified, so in all means that would be following the rules.....

Again, no need for all that. We will find out on friday or some time next week, depending how long CAS takes.

No you idiot.....all it means is that they wont have to register him for competitions they play in while he serves his suspension.....

Legia is trying to prove that UEFA rules are not clear whether the player has to be registered in squad for a competition while serving suspension, not that a suspended player can play

If you were then I am sorry for calling you out, but that didnt sound like sarcasm, and if it was.....then it made no sense whatsoever since it has nothing to do with this situation.
And you are not the first one saying something stupid like that so I am sorry that I am getting bit annoyed and overreact.

    Mea culpa

    * just got serious.
Interpol is looking into the game because right after team rosters were submitted there were shitload of bets on Celtic advancing made. Bookies asked to look into that.
