True, but watch as those words of support and sympathy evaporate like snow off a roof once those same worlds media research Legia Warsaw a bit more closely and realise that their fan base has the distinct stench of rascist white power politics wafting through the terraces. What will the world media "take on the matter" be then? The silence will be deafening. Legia made an * of it, through stupidity, ignorance or maybe both. UEFA metted out the punishment, not Celtic. Celtic should do the honourable thing? They already are, they are refusing to debate the issue with Legia and in doing so are saving Legia from themselves. If a public squabble were to commence between the two clubs....I can just see the video clips of the racist White Power Legia fans and their banners being the backdrop to many sports news bulletins.

 

I have no problem with Boruc's tweets. He is only making a case for Legia, he is not making any statements against Celtic.

 

I think he does , the Legia "fans" have already issued death threats, if he didn't show support the same "fans" would likely go after his family next

I love Boruc. I understand where his coming from, Legia will always be his first club. Nobody hates him and would love to see him playing for us again, at some point.

well believe me its not, i think the scottish tabloids spiced it up a bit as always like with this one off match which was a complete nonsence. Probably among the Legia fans its not the most popular club right now, but in the media there is more criticsism towards the legia board and uefa. The fans are angry and its understandable. Ill still stay both Legia and Celtic fan, although they call me a racist or scum

in these circumstances, just say you,re a hun, and u will get a free vodka + game ticket but honestly its a shame it all ended like this, imagine, before the game the fan-groups gave a statement asking not to come in celtic kits to the game (1st leg). Anyways u should visit it, we have one on the best atmospheres in europe and ive been to many grounds in england, scotland, spain (the worst), germany etc
