Wow! It is now a cuntillion and two times that it has been said. Well done! :smiley-laughing002:

The entire * World begs to differ.

Highly unlikely--this will certainly be remembered long after this edition of the CL finishes.

Yes, you have had no influence on the final outcome of the matter, but you could have had the influence, and chose not to (as I said, the relevant regulations have been quoted on this board many times).

I don't disagree with the decision. It is what it is and we have to play whoever UEFA tell us we need to play. You're getting a chance to try and overturn the decision and to consistently harass Celtic over this is pathetic, your focus should be on UEFA.

Well it won't really. Of course people will remember what happened but no-one will care. It's a newstory just now, in a week or two down the line it won't be and that's that.

    Spot on.

And best of luck to your team, mate.

Consistenly harass? It's just one letter.

But it IS about UEFA--can't you see it? Imagine the reaction of Sharp, Ford, MasterCard, Nissan, Gazprom, or whoever the UEFA CL sponsors are, after reading all those articles in the world media (and Legia has fuckall to do with it, it's the entire world seeing that there is something wrong with the situation). I'm quite sure that UEFA is now thinking how to change their first decision to make them look like they act honestly, that they admitted to their mistake themselves, in the name of the sport, because they "care about football". That's what the media and sponsor pressure do. It's all about UEFA.

If your appeal does fail and you take it to CAS as suggested then you will see for yourself how the media attention will dry up. You will be tied in with CAS for weeks and months and no-one will have much care - a few column inches if that.

Think we can have our flags back that Legia fans stole off Celtic fans in Warsaw after attacking us - since you all seek for the honourable thing to be done, be sporting etc?

    Flegs, flegs, flegs. :celt_2:

It's the point about them begging us to do the right thing, harping on about 'honor', being sporting etc - well how does that fit in with a mob attacking Celtic fans visiting their city and stealing their flags? Was that an honourable thing to do?

Look you cretinous Legia Warsaw fans. Go * yourselves.
You are a bunch of whining * that can't handle the fact that you * up.
Hope that if we don't get into Group stages of CL that we get drawn in Europa group along with you and this time we will * skelp you on and off the park both your team and your cowardly thuggish fans.
    Bunch of fuckwits.
Learn how to read a * UEFA regulation you morons and you wouldn't be in this mess.

    Hold on a second:
    Things you got right:
    Admins * the team over.
    Celtic never made the decision

    Things you got wrong:
Celtic does have the power to change it as there is a rule which says that UEFA can change the decision if both involved parties agree to it.
Legia cheated: no, thats not the case since they only had 23 players registered instead of 25 so they had a spot to put him there. It was honest admin mistake and not cheating. Get your facts right.
Celtic is not in CL yet

so you are 2-5. Not bad at all mate!

Police Scotland are muppets and a bunch of * cowards.
50 scumbag Legia thugs raided an Asda store in Edinburgh and all of them stole crates of beer and wine and loaded it on the bus.
Police arrived (after the bus had left as usual) and took statements.
Why not get the * bus number plate and * stop them from getting to their ferry and jail the *.
    Cowards.

Wow, now you make it fans vs fans. Classy......

The facts are, Celtic's reputation is being * on all over the world, no matter what the outcome will be and Legia has nothing to do with it! All world see that your board is full of * who care just about money. Rules are rules, yes. But class is class and you have none and now the whole world sees it. So while teams go abroad to US, to Asia to increase their fanbase to get more revenue, you just made sure you won't be getting any of it. And the point about sponsors that Torq is making is valid. They must be fuming after seeing the product that they are putting their money in being spat on all over the world.

Those who cant see it are a bunch of morons who won't notice the truth even if it hits them in the face.

Yes, Legia's administration * up, yes UEFA didnt leave themselves any room in rules so they had to DQ, no, its not going to change on wedensday and CAS ruling will take a while, BUT, Celtic is seen as a team that values nothing but money, whose tradition is being sold for couple of millions, who dont get the idea of fair play, a team who just by being in Champions League bring the credibility of it down with fans, sponsors and media.
Hope you enjoy all of that.

This whole situation, including the decision by UEFA to push Celtic through is backfiring on this club very badly and you must be blind not to see it. You would be much better off saying that you dont want to get a place in 4th round this way and walk away with the tail between your legs after being scolded on the field 6-1.

And if you still manage not to get into Champions League, either because of change of decision or by losing to Maribor........:D The whole world is going to laugh their * of by seeing how you wiped your * with team's reputation and then came away with nothing

    Look you whining Legia fans.
Most on this site had sympathy for you and didn't think you should have been thrown out but that was down to UEFA not Celtic.
Then you started acting like little * babies who wants their bottle.
    * grow up.
If UEFA had decided that Legia should stay in CL then we would have accepted that but they didn't so come down off your high horses you cretins.

Nah, the problem here is that most of the posters on this board do not have enough intelligence in them to be able to have a civilized discussion about influence of all of this on Celtic, including marketing, PR, finances, etc.
