I know where you're coming from but we're not blindly defending Tonev. We're saying that there is absolutely no solid evidence against him and that it is outrageous that he is getting a 7 game ban for it.

If Logan had said that Guidetti called him a 'black c***', I bet you wouldn't be wanting him sent back to City. If there was solid evidence against him, I'd want him gone no matter how good he is.

There is no evidence against Tonev.

 

Remember Lennon was banned for 3 matches as well for calling Jim Goodwin a "* *". I wonder how many other mangers/players have called another professional that - or worse - and nothing has been done about it.

When did I accuse him 100% of being racist? l I just said it was more likely that he did say it than he didn't, there is zero evidence of anything though of course. Why did Logan not make up that accusation against any other player? At least I'm not pretending that any Celtic player (or a rotten on-loan Aston Villa player we should have never signed in the first place) is a * angel who could do no wrong, as if it's beyond doubt that he didn't say it. There's every chance he did, and he's been convicted regardless so I don't want to see this rubbish player at Celtic Park again.

The statement you said is racist in itself. You have pretty much convicted Tonev of saying these alleged remarks on the mere word of Logan, so you are accusing him of racism with no evidence, yet you brand Bulgarians - And Eastern Europeans - as racists. Where's the difference to what you have alleged to what he SFA have done? Nothing.

As other's have said, would you be the same way if it were Guidetti? What if it were Petrov? I mean he's Bulgarian after all so I'm sure he must be a racist as well then.

Just because he's been convicted it doesn't mean he's guilty.

Don't get me wrong, I don't rate him as a player, but it's really unfair if a players career has been ruined or put a blight onto it, All we know is that it is one man's word against another's, and we can be Commended as a club for attempting to defend someone who Isn't even a full player in a case with so little evidence, and that's that

 

The evidence is Shay Logan is more likable apparently.

They need to take this to CAS .

I said my personal opinion was that he was more likely to have said it that he didn't, and I stick by that. I'm just giving my true opinion which is against the grain on here, people are scared to put any negative slant on anything Celtic related as there will be 10 people quoting them to slag them off as if they're some sort of Zombie even if they have a valid point.

I'm not sure where I said every Bulgarian was racist either, just that Eastern Europeans have had a tendency to be racist in the past, so it would hardly be a shock to the system if the revelations where true, but we'll never find out. The * at the SFA have deemed him guilty and in my book that's a sufficient enough reason for him not to play for us again, never mind his lack of ability and being a waste of a wage.
