It isn't really, everyone knows some Eastern Europeans can have a tendency to be racist. He was having a pish game and probably felt frustrated, I'm not saying he 100% did say it, there's zero evidence and it is one guy's word against another, but if I was putting money on it I'd say that he did say it, I'm not going to pretend otherwise that's just what I think. He's been convicted rightly or wrongly so he shouldn't play for us again.

If I'd to guess I'd say he did it but it's difficult to see why he's being convicted with no evidence. I think it sets the SFA up for a difficult future with these incidents.

I don't doubt for a second that you must have more than mere anecdotal evidence for this assertion. Honest.

Nevertheless, even if it were to turn out that Eastern Europeans were more likely to be racist than we enlightened westerners, inferring probabilities about an individual's behaviour from a belief (whether true or false) about an ethnic group is...well, you know what it is.

 

Some no doubt do. Some Brits have tendencies to be racist, as do some Americans, some French, some Irish, some Swedes, some Germans, some Asians, some Africans, some Brazlians, some Argentinians..... everywhere has racists in their culture, doesn't mean they all are - and to stereotype someone for that is racist.

The SFA have done the same thing "you struggle to speak english and are bulgarian - youre likely racist"
