Not when it comes to the SFA/SPFL. Apparently you just need the word of the accuser and that's the case done and dusted.

A 7-match ban on mere belief rather than evidence. Says it all on what those SFA/SPFL arseholes are like.

 

How can you find someone guilty of something like this just because you prefer the way one of those involved tells his story? This doesn't make much sense and there is certainly no natural justice here. I'm not saying Tonev is innocent, but that is the point nobody can say he is guilty either. Insufficient evidence leads to cases being dismissed so why not with the SFA?

 

Even around the time Bougherra grabbed the ref in a game against us and was holding his arms shouting at him, another player think it might have been a Hearts or a manager of a lower League team possibly even Adams that old Ross County manager, whoever it was got about a 12 game ban for putting hands on a Ref, Bougherra literall obstructed a Ref for about 10 seconds and nothing happened.... imagine Lennon grabbing a Ref like that?

 

So guilty until proven innocent then?

 

why the * should he leave,this isnt a player on the park issue its do do with right and wrong,innocent or guilty.

The SFA are a disgrace here.......rewind the clock 10 years and someone states Henrik just called me a ***** ****.........same reaction from you,get rid of him? Doubt it.....players ability has * all to do with this

 

They definitely got off with a lot of things others didn't. Anyway, this should be thrown out of court.

 

I'm not going to defend an on-loan Aston Villa player who has been utter dross for us to try to protect the Celtic name in some way. I can't see why Logan would make up this accusation at all. At least I'm going against the grain and not putting my head in the sand as if there's no chance he said it, when there's every chance he did. I just don't want to see this * player in Celtic colours again.

It's got * all to do with ability, who he plays for or our image

The only piece of evidence against Tonev is Shay Logan said he called him something.

Tonev may well have said it, but seen as there is no evidence, how can he be banned and why would the fans or the club turn their back on him?
