Is it just league games or all Scottish competition matches except Europe that he is banned for.

He will be back in time to have one match against Ross County away before the Sevco massacre.

You couldn't be further from the truth if you tried.

I think Tonev is *, has a questionable attitude and I would rather he wasn't a Celtic player.

That means absolutely nothing with regards to this case. He could be Lionel Messi or Rafael Scheidt. You CANNOT label someone a racist on the word of someone else over him because you think he answered questions hesitantly in a language he barely speaks.

Tonev has now been branded, his career and his life will suffer and for what? Logan has shown himself to be a complete * on more than 1 occasion but his word is Gospel? Absolutely embarassing showing from the SFA and I hope the CAS not only overrules the stupid decision but takes the SFA to task into the bargain.

You do understand that this really has nothing to do with feelings though, right?

There is no real evidence against him here.

none of us in here are backing him at all if he was found guilty with evidence, far from it...if it was an aberdeen player or even a zombie,it would be the same....this decision changes football up here and not for the good.....so you can damage someone without evidence...its bullshit.....it makes it more important to us because he IS a celtic player

I will stand by him until the evidence is presented...innocent until PROVEN....the real courts will sort this out, they work cases based on evidence given, and there is none....he will get found not guilty.....its just what happens with the SFA after that

There is no trust whatsoever in 3 years within the SFA

I always thought you needed at least 2 pieces of evidence to start a case

It doesn't matter what anyone thinks, the simple facts here are it's one guys word against another. No proof, zilch.

The authorities have taken the side of the Aberdeen player, or that could read "anyone but the Celtic player".

It is an absolute disgrace. Where else would you see a ruling like this?

I hope they get hung for this, and are forced into an apology that will make them look like the shambles thay they are.

to be honest, this could finish those * in the SFA....when its thrown out in proper court,a shitstorm will come down on that lot,and celtic should be at the front of the line...

Dougiegate still annoys the * outta me let alone this with that mob.

He's probably guilty, let's be honest. Can't see why Logan would fabricate this accusation. He's * balls anyway and I hope his loan ends in January.

So, the sfa ban a player for apparent racism, with their 'proof' being racist in it self.

Tonev has been branded a racist because his English isn't good because he is a foreigner - so racist stereotyping.

Only in Scottish football is the law * backwards.

I expect ian black to be banned before every match, as it's * probable that he will bet on the match in question.
Or elbows to be serving a never ending 9 game ban because it's8 probable that he will elbow someone in the face.

Sevco should be docked 15 pts right now, as it's * probable that they will go in to administration.

Nobody can be certain of what was or wasn't said and it's a shambolic disgrace that anyone, and I mean anyone can literally have their career ruined by following the SFA rules. Rules which are full of holes and must be challenged in a court of law.

Failure to do so is inexcusable. Celtic have to take this as far as possible and back Tonev to the hilt.

As for those Celtic fans coming out with he's guilty without hearing any evidence whatsoever and basing their opinion on "instinct" I pity the person ever forced to have you on their jury.

Could someone please tell me in pretty specific terms what evidence you have for Tonev for being innocent? The way you're all claiming conspiracy and backing him to the hilt I'd assume there's some logic, or is it just blind, defensive protection of your own regardless of whether they're guilty or not.

Honestly, I know this will probably land a ban (which is fine as I rarely post here and I'm not even a Celtic fan) but I find the sweeping under the carpet and accusations of corruption every time anyone with a connection to Celtic is found guilty of something to be pretty * appalling. I'm sure there's some Celtic fans who would agree.

Isn't it supposed to be the case that evidence proves someone's guilt? Not the other way around!

I'm not sure if some people on here are just clicking the thread and posting without reading what's actually happened, or if they're just dumb *, but there is no evidence to suggest that Tonev said anything.
