Can't believe there is even a 56 page thread on this guy, some Villa fans probably pishing themselves reading some of these comments.

He is absolutely dire and a disgrace of a footballer. Gives the impression and vibes he thinks he's too good to be here but in reality he should be playing League 1 football in England if that for Port Vale or the likes.

 

He offers * all. May as well play with a white pillow case on his heed with eye holes cut out on it.

 

That wouldn't affect his playing ability either way but an amusing mental image nonetheless.

Thought I'd try to lighten this place up a bit. I know I have been moaning a lot.

I'm not sure why we signed him. He turned us down to join Aston Villa, where he failed spectacularly. He could not have been more of a flop there.

Why would we go back in for him?

I dont think he's that bad, not the best today but only real standout bad thing was the shot from about 45 yards. I was suprised he went off as he was the only forward with pace.

 

He also rarely found a man with a pass, lost possession when he had it and looked like he couldn't be arsed. There was a reason he was subbed at half time.

 

So did most of the others though, McGregors passing was awful, Stokes didnt get into the game until Brown and Commons came on and Guidetti barely got a sniff of the ball.

If I was subbing somebody i'd have subbed Izaguirre(who to be fair was probably our best player in the game actually, he had a great second half) but id have subbed him at HT and went to 3 at the back and brought on Scepovic and moved Tonev to the right, Guidetti left and McGregor into the middle with Stokes so...

Motherwell werent interested in coming out their own half so we could have put as many attacking players as we wanted on.

This guy was the worst player on the park before he went off, Stokes almost looks like a footballer compared to this guy.

 

As it stands, id rather play a loaf of bread than this guy. Willing to give him one or two more games to prove me wrong though

Looks like another * signing from Lennon, that got away in the end. Wee Neil had some woeful record in the market as the later years came in.

Some gems at the start, but after that very very patchy.
