After last night and scoring the goal he did i just wonder
    do you forgive him?
I forgive him for what happened maybe a hat trick against the huns would help more
if you havent forgiven him what would it take for you to do so?

There's nothing to forgive. He was doing his job that day.

Mate that hurt like Argentina 78 hurt so I know exactly what you mean. We should be pleased that McDonald was prepared to do his job even though he has leanings towards us. It shows that he was/is professional.

What about the sitter that Bellamy missed ? :31:

What's there to forgive.....honestly I don't know. Someone fill me in here? Did he play for the Rangers or score Against Scotland for Aussie? A lil bit ignorant when it comes to Scott McDonald's past.

spot on. Anyone who held that against him ever was daft IMO and anyone who still holds it against him now is unhinged.

I answered yes. But really there was nothing to forgive. Scott McDonald was a Motherwell player that day and was just doing his job. We often hear about players being boyhood supporters but it seems in McDonalds case he really did grow up supporting Celtic which shows just how professional he was that day. The guy has been an excellent signing and last night he gave us a night and a result to remember.

Never held anything against him. If you want someone to blame for Celtic losin the league that year, it`s Celtic. McDonald scored two goals against us that game, but we had a whole load of games before that to win the league with.

Apart from scoring against us and celebrating like a madman (fair enough it's his job), the lie he had always been a celtic supporter really bothers me. why can't he just shut the * up instead of acting like he's celtics biggest fan.

    some quotes from january 2007:
"Scott McDonald had been keen on a move to Ibrox"

"McDonald has revealed his anguish at missing out on a deadline-day move to Ibrox after Motherwell turned down a firm offer for the Australian."

"Motherwell striker Scott McDonald is devastated to have missed out on a transfer deadline day move to Rangers."

"When my agent called to tell me what was happening, I was on top of the world," McDonald told the Daily Record."

"It's so hard for me to take. But it's up to Motherwell to call the shots. Hopefully, I can get over this."

Fair enough he wanted to join the huns, but why does he have to lie then? celtic supporter all his life? I prefer honest people; people who admit to have followed the dark side when they were younger.

I hate liars and people changing their mind every day.

    persona non grata

yeh he was doing his job and he was playing against his boyhood heroes so he wud hav wanted to impress at the end of the day it was the teams fault not scott mcdonald because if the defense were doin wat they were fukin paid for scott might not hav scored all we needed was a fukin draw and we wud hav won the league does it in a way it * people off because rangers have another title more than us to boast about but thats not what counts right now because we are the best team in scotland and rangers aint

i doubt he wanted a move to rangers because most tabloids are bullshit his family are diehard celtic fans is that enough proof OVERKILL why the * are some of the fans playin the blame game here scott mcdonalds goal won us the game against milan which if we never won wud hav been bad for out champions league ambitions and gave us something to hit back at rangers fans who are constantly telling us they beat lyon and how they are so great so be greatful we have a good little foward to partner hesselink the guy is giving his fukin heart and soul for the club at the moment and some miseriable * are throwing it back in his face it makes me sick because this aint wat this clubs supporters stand for
