Jesus. I didn't even know it was possible for an entire football club to be on crack. Yes, the rule is unjust and should be changed, yes UEFA are * and yes you have a right go be angry (not at us, though); but * me, if your playing staff were as useless as the rest of your staff it wouldn't have got that far because we'd have won comfortably and you'd probably not have won your league in the first place.

What world are your board living in? A world where a PLC worth millions instructs all its staff not to answer any of dozens of phones in case it's you, where UEFA don't enforce their (admittedly very unfair in this case) rules if the other party promises not to complain and now a world where it's normal to write an open letter asking us to issue a joint statement that would achieve nothing except making us look as unhinged as the people running your club.

As someone said earlier, I'm beginning to understand how you made the admin error in the first place.

In fact Chiellini did publicly say he hoped Suarez' ban would be reduced. Did it make any difference? Exactly.

It hurts me to say this, but it's a fair point. Never seen Celtic fans say "rules are rules" so often in such a short space of time. Must have been said dozens of times in the main thread.

Have UEFA opened their mouths over Legia's statement yet?

We live in world where the club which won 6-1 on aggregate will play on playoffs. And we live in the world where legendary club can admit that he don't deserve to play on the next round.

The more I see the news of this letter the more I feel embarrassed for Legia. To all the many Legia fans on this forum, are you not just a little embarrassed to be coming across as desperate wee children?

Legia: "I promise mummy that I'll go to bed as soon as I'm told and eat all my vegetables if you let me play with the big boys in Europe".

Pete 'I am the' Lawwell: "No you're far too wee now stop whining or you won't be playing with anybody. I'm trying to count all this money."

    :smiley-laughing002: I wish you a year of pure frustration:bbpd:

no we live in a world where money talks. The big legendary club will wait for the small club to simmer down and disappear so the legendary club can proceed to the group stages and pick up 20million quid.

    Exactly.

Sorry, mate, but in this particular case we are on the side of football whilst most of you are on the side of bureaucracy, which automatically makes us right and makes you wrong, so we are not prepared to take on board any of your comments. :icon_mrgreen:
