It was Michel Platini who suggested this solution to the polish FA president...

What I'm saying is that you can steal a pack of gum, or you can steal a million pounds. Shoud these two crimes be punished in exactly the same way? Because that's what the UEFA law is saying at the moment.

Fielding an illegible player who didn't serve his ban for 90 min and winning thanks to that, and playing a player, who did sit out his ban but someone didn't do the paperwork, for 4 minutes in an already won game, is punished in exactly the same way.

Anyone who thinks the law is fair should read this...

    http://www.talkceltic.net/forum/showpost.php?p=4184137&postcount=158

... again, and forget for a moment about his club bias. It's only common sense, lads.

Simply, the didn't. Not like Sion, who openly flaunted the fact half the team were banned/unregistered/ineligible.

Reality is though as soon as in ineligible player is played its awarded 3-0. From semi-professional football and the lower leagues, all the way to top.

Presidents been set with this with Haka vs Macabbi Tel Aviv in the CL qualifiers to San Marino u-21 vs Sweden u-21.

The circumstances around this make it farcical. Legia deserve to go through much better team.

But its clear this wont be changed & this happens automatically, no matter the score when a ineligible player is played.

Legia's management have * up big time.

Celtic are not at fault for this, even if it does fit in with some mad conspiracy theory that's developing on internet of communist plot to remove Legia from CL.

Look, if your club has suspended people, then they must think those people are to blame.

    This is not Celtics fault.

Sure, because you and your fans have honour right?

P.S. What did your lot do with the flags you stole? Is that an honourable thing to do to guests in your city - attack them and steal their flags?

    http://www.weszlo.com/2014/08/09/zb...ji-to-byc-moze-da-sie-uchylic-jej-orzeczenie/

W dniu obrad Komisji Dyscyplinarnej obdzwoniłem wszystkich.

    translate from google :
On the meeting of the Disciplinary Committee I called everyone. I wrote to Michel Platini: "Michel, friends in life has a few. Help me. "People with UEFA told me that there is only one option, to try to save the Legion. Now Celtic would be the promotion simply waive, within the gesture of fair play.

    Desperate stab in the dark.

Celtic would be fools to agree to this, and you know it.

Not really a case of a one off game then, going by the reading of that. But Celtic letting Legia through under 'fair play'.

Admirable, yes. But no club in World football would ever agree to that.

    Deluded if anyone thinks otherwise.
