    He was caught out in bad positions several times and was very sloppy on the ball. Not very effective going forward and managed one decent cross.

    Very disappointing in comparison to his performances in the second half of last season

    I would agree with that.1-1 is an excellent result for us given the away goal puts us in the driving seat.Calum McGregor continues to impress each game, but Izzyguire and Ambrose give me the fear.

    Stokes was not "great" imo. He worked really hard, but the man can't put the ball in the net in Europe if his life depended on it.

    Thought Lustig was the only one not at fault: it wasn't his runner to follow. He did try and come round on the cover but it was too late. Izzy and Denayer mainly to blame, Van Dijk not his best moment (though he was simply magnificent second half).

    He was very poor defensively and he almost set up Maribor in the second half with that awful pass.

    Izzy is so, so reckless. Won the ball a few times but against better and faster opposition we'll get ripped apart if he keeps dragging himself so far out of position.

    McGregor keeps on impressing me, he's like Forrest only not injured!

    So let's rewind a bit...

    90+ minutes played. Celtic have carved out a brilliant 1-1 draw so far away from home. Maribor are whipping balls in and starting to threaten. Our deference remain resolute and Efe is giving away the obogatory bombscare.

    But, wait, a moment of relief! Celtic press forward and, with the clock ticking down, they win a corner.

    Away from home.

    With a draw in the bag.

    Against Maribor, a team well know for playing a fast counter attacking game.

    And some people wanted them to swing it in?????

    ANYONE saying that, I hope you enjoyed you first game of football, because surely you have never watched any previous.

    maribor are * awful and they outplayed us in the second half ,if we cant play around them useless * i dread to think whats gonna happen if we make the group stages.i cant understand the thinking that 1-1 against a team as bad as them is a good result
