Because its helps the co-efficent, meaning in future WE wont need to play qualifiers, remember Bratislava? bet you wish we didnt have to play a qualifier that year!!

It also just improves Scotland's reputation as a whole, the national team doing well and both Glasgow Giants doing well in Europe.

They might be our biggest rivals in Scotland, but in Europe there is next to no chance we will play them in the Champions League.

Meh..if i'm honest, i'm happy to see Rangers win in Europe, just as long as we do just as well (or better) than them.

But that means that they will get more money to spend on players and possibly beat us.

    * em, let Rangers have their joy. The only thing that matters is our Club in Europe. Rangers played well tonight and I am not going to waste time thinking about their win. C'mon the Hoops, lets hump Milan!

Any good result for them knuckledragging arseholes is a bad one for us

    * scottish football, its celtic im interested in and i cant believe one of us would back them in any way.

If they progress in europe that means more money for them which is obviously bad for us

My take on the game -

Firstly, fair * to the huns, I would love a 0-3 away in the CL.

I must admit though that that Lyon side are a shadow of the previous Lyon teams I have watched. Then again they are now bossed by a Pompey flop! They seemed to be a team of individuals who were more interested in getting on the scoresheets themselves than passing to their team-mates i.e. baros and junihno. keita was theyre best all round player and he only got half an hour!

The huns defended in depth and hit on the counter, despite Lyons poor show smith got his tic tacs spot on. I'm sure bossing Scotland has given him the balls to only play 1 up front even if this is to the fans dislike.

This was labeled the group of death but the showings I have seen from Stuttgart and lyon make me worry the orcs could progress.
