    Ronny could bring him on after 60-70 mins and we could hit them then and maybe get a goal or so, he is a good option to come from the bench.

    Midfield and defence looks all over the place at times. I get that Maribor are parking the bus but if I see another denyar, van dijk, mulgrew pass combo again I think I may cry!

    Not bad first half, hope we go for the kill next half.

    Tbh im pretty sure they can take players on and beat them by videos ive seen videos of Tonev anyway and I heard the lad thats coming from Russia is fast as * in the Agathe mould we need a player out there than can take on a few * and get by them, open them up that way, wed prob win a few more corners too which were doing pretty well from:50:

    Started off really brightly, faded in the last 20-25 minutes. Stokes is no use on his own up front I'm afraid, not in Europe anyway. Guy isn't a striker at all. Will take 1-1 though, but our performances need to improve for the group stages, shall we get there.

    I'd also say Van Dijk should've been closer, He was further forward and when the ball went through he was nowhere near..

    Good first half. I love our transitioning into the two different formations. 4-3-2-1 when we don't have the ball and 3-4-2-1 when we do have the ball.
    People who are saying Mulgrew is playing to deep this is what he is being asked to do to start the play. It allows the full backs to push on creating great width on the pitch.

    Izzy is getting a lot of criticism, he has been great going forward but struggling a little when defending, mainly because Berget is not tracking back at all to give him a hand.

    Great first half though. The only real downside is Gordon looks shaky.
