    He should drop Commons. It's been proved time and time again that Commons doesn't have the pace or guile for Europe, he can't cut it as a playmaker or 'no.10' at this level.

    Commons, Stokes and Mulgrew just aren't good enough for this level. Griffiths might not be either but we may aswell see. Its really starting to * me off watching Mulgrew now, don't think he adds anything to the team. To slow in terms of both speed and vision. He ruins any chance we have of a quick counter.

    It is a strange feeling these days for sure, that's the consequence of our league being a foregone conclusion - we go from scoring hatfuls, dominating games and looking like world beaters one day, to getting outplayed and battered only a few days later.

    I don't think any other club in the world "suffers" what we suffer from - going from David to Goliath and back again so often in a season, it clearly has an affect on the players as well.
