Would have been even better if you'd booked the Thursday off mate :smiley-laughing002:

I'm still working on Thursday, I'll just start early and finish early... that's the plan anyway :icon_mrgreen:

Pack the midfield and dont be too adventerous. We have been * in Europe recently. We would be doing seriously well to come away with a draw.

Disappointed no striker going into game. Chucks need kicked.

Hoping it doesn't turn out like Legia, here's hoping not.

With more game time behind us, I feel that we will get a least a draw over there, possibly a 1-0 win. :50:

I think everyone forgets we are historically absolutely * away from home. Playing 4-2-3-1 is madness in my opinion. Got to be a 4-5-1

    Gordon

    Lustig
    Denayer
    Virgil
    Izzaguirre

    McGregor
    Kayal
    Johansen
    Mulgrew
    Berget or Derk Long *

See this being extremely hard tie. Maribor have two very good strikers, one being the guy we tried to sign. We couldnt handle legias one decent striker so I really hope we are prepared this time to snuff these guys out. Certainly shouldnt be looking to play expansive football.

Really hope ambrose is left on the bench and if he does play used at right back or in defensive midfield. Mulgrew should not be used when playing two central midfielders and needs extra help and I feel izzy should be left out as he is the the area teams focus on when we play in europe.

Cant beleive we havent signed a striker but with us going with our current squad I would stick with stokes up top as although he isnt the best lone striker he knows how to bring the other players into the game and always links up well with commons who we need to play well.

    Would go with 4-5-1

    ------------Gordon

    Ambrose--Deneyar--VVD--Lustig

    Commons-kayal-johansson-Mulgrew-Berget
    -------------------------stokes

Our best player this year mcgregor not playing but hes not going to provide defensively and can always be brought on later in the game.

Play compact and give opposition no space.

I know Deila will do the opposite of all this and I hope it works as I would love to see us go there and play attacking football and dominate the game but we dont have the players to do that yet
