Just caught the last bit of a story on Sky Sports News talking about Maribor having a partial stadium closure for racist behaviour...

Anyone else see that?!

I wonder if our devoted supporters who encourage our players through thick and thin ever stopped to think why , in their opinion Stokes and Commons are so * in Europe . I would have thought that either through the manager playing defensive tactics or maybe by the rest of the team not able to apply as much pressure on the opposition as usual, neither Commons nor Stokes are able to reach their normal heights in Europe .

Welll considering their stadiums capacity is only 13,000 if part of that is closed it certainly doesn't do us any harm playing in front of an even smaller crowd.

Anyway, I'm quite confident for tomorrow night. Can't see us being anywhere near as bad as we were against Legia and hopefully the players are pumped up and buzzing after the weekend.

I hope we don't set out with the same tactics as warsaw, if we push too many players forward, Maribor will pick us off like legia. Maribor are a good counter attacking team.

 

Actually it would be three times - both Legia legs......and have you noticed how many times if something happens twice it usually happens a third time ? Spooky but true.

 

I'm not 100% sure he really knows another way too set up. He seems very confident in himself and his philosophies so who knows how we'll start tomorrow night.

Only half of South stand is closed because of alleged racism. Out of 1500 tickets, 900 ultras will still be there, so it's not a big difference. Anything more than 900 would be glory hunters, so it's better for them to stay home and let the real ultras do their thing.
