If we went to a 433, i could see Kayal come in, replacing McGregor. Very defence-minded though. Having Kayal and Johansen in the middle, snapping at heels and breaking up play, Charlie sitting deeper, who at times can knock a decent long pass. Then leave the front three to be a bit more fluid. Commons obviously isn't a wide man anymore, so could either sit just inside leaving space for Izzy, or we have him in the middle like a false nine, with Jo and Stokes closing down and coming in from the flanks.

No chance this'll happen like. haha. But could see the benefits to adding a bit more bite to the side. Without broony we don't have the fear. Think kayal could do a job. Plus, turning over possession abroad is key. My * would nip less if we sat a tad deeper and hit on the break rather than losing it in the middle whilst playing a really high defensive line!

    I'll be there!

But I think the whole Legia fiasco, coupled with the expense/difficulties of getting to place like Maribor at short-notice and at this time of year- then I can't imagine there will be more than a few hundred Celtic supporters.

Imagine us getting into the Champions League, going to the Bernabéu and Ronny deciding * this, we can outplay this mob....

    Hi Shieldsy,

I am desperate to go to this game but tickets have been hard for me. This is because I live in Budapest, I have tried to get a hold of friends in Scotland but it isn't proving easy.

Is there any chance you could pick up a second ticket and I will repay you in full in Maribor. I appreciate this is a leap and perhaps asking too much but I am simply desperate to get a ticket for the game.

    Cheers!

P.S. I tried to PM this to you but it says your inbox is full! :50:

I reckon it would be next to impossible to do so though.

The far more likely result is us bending over and taking a * pumping.

If Legia can do it, Cristiano Ronaldo and co certainly can.

I think he's said previously that in games against Barcelona & the likes, we have to adapt our game. I think he'll try to outplay second and third seed sides though, which should be our ambition.

Unbelievable that Forrest is * again. 3 man midfield away from home in Europe.

He has never done anything upfront in Europe. Can't keep playing up there in the hopes he does something when everything points to the probability that he won't

agree with this side apart from i would have stokes over griffiths i thought stokes played well against united.your right about forrest would a brought him on as an impact player later on.the only other bit im not too 100 percent on is biton as mulgrew got a goal at the weekend and could be usefule for set pieces but biton is more of a midfielder its 50/50 for they 2.

anybody think a midfield of of kayal commons johansen could work?commons gives us an extra goal threat and good set peices.i would think lustig over denayer f matthews is fit.kayal playing more defensive with commons and johansen attacking and moving forward.love the way berget tracks back and helps in defensive and hes a good goal threat.theres a good few goals in that midfield commons, berget, mcgregor, johansen and stokes all providing a good goal threat, plus kayal does get the odd one on occasion.

    gordon

    lustig denayer van dijk izzaguirre

    kayal commons johansen

Try phoning the ticket office saying you are a fan from Budapest and are travelling to the game etc, say it will be you're first ever game and sound quite sad, if the person on the phone is sympathetic enough they will arrange for you to collect a ticket at the game as it says on the website there is arrangements for that. :smiley-laughing002:

For those Season Ticket holders who cannot visit the Ticket Office to uplift their ticket, please call 0871 226 1888, option 1, option 2* and the Ticket Office will assist and advise of uplift arrangements at the stadium on the night of the match.

You left it a bit late, if you were on here and said this 3/4 days ago someone could have got one and sent it.
