legia kicked out/Celtic re-instated *official*

Legia would have taken it as any club would. This was UEFA's decision, not Celtic. There was a *-up and your club is paying the price as UEFA (not Celtic) have punished you. Don't come whining to us - not our fault! It's that simple really.

All Celtic had to do was to write a letter saying they wouldn't appeal UEFA's decision to fine Legia monetarily and Legia would go through. Sadly they refused to do it, they wouldn't even answer their phones or emails.

Like I said, Celtic will no doubt gain financially from all this, but what goes around comes around. Karma's a *, remember that Celtic fans.

 

It had nothing to do with us, someone at you're club scored a massive (3) own goal(s) by not knowing the rules.

Celtic losing to Legia but going through

And I almost forgot the biggest of all, you're two main title rivals over you're history: Third Lanark and Rangers dying while you march on triumphantly.

Thing is we will like every club no doubt in the future have our highs and lows like all teams will. I doubt we will ever exactly replicate this mistake though basically because we aren't that * stupid!

I don't think we can change it, or amend fifes rules. It's unfortunate but if it was the other way around i wouldn't be so naive as to think a club who need the champions league, would not accept this and follow the rules. I would be looking for heads to roll at my own club for such a costly stupid mistake. Time for everyone to move on now. We might meet again in the future

You're right, someone at our club * up and we deserve to be fined, but not in this way. The crime does not fit the punishment.

There was a way for UEFA to give us a lesser fine, but only if Celtic agreed not to appeal the decision to a higher court in Switzerland.

Legia was trying to contact Celtic about this, but all of a sudden nobody in your club would return their phone calls or emails, giving UEFA no choice but to change the score to 0:3.
