legia kicked out/Celtic re-instated *official*

Fans of clubs all over the place are getting on their high horse about it but in reality no club in this land would turn it down if given the opportunity themselves.

 

Following the rules of the game even those of registration however arbitrary they seem is crucial in protecting the credibility of the game.
Anyone who want's us to give up our spot are mad, as no other team on the planet would give up the opportunity to apear in the champions league and the benifits it brings.

 

Not only that we can't turn it down. It's not even possible without removing ourselves from European competition altogether. Legia made as look like idiots on the park now their * ups off it are casting us as the bad guys ffs. * off Legia.

 

Of course they wouldn't and all this tub thumping about us 'doing the right thing' is probably put out there by those who know we have no choice in the matter & just want to see us cast as the villains. The rule may seem punitive but when you dissect it I can see far more reasons for it than against it. Unfortunately for Legia they have received the thin end of the wedge but an all encompassing rule will always have its hard luck stories but in the long run it will actually protect the smaller clubs against the games financial injustices.

 

Celtic Should Do The Right Thing......

If Legia let us know how much they got fined for playing a suspended player then Celtic should pay the fine for them.

If positions were reversed we would be raging, I know its not our fault but some of the people on here have been outright Dicks, Legia were the better team and deserve to be going through, and honestly the Europa League is our standard right now. UEFA is the one who has caused this mess and others like it, we were screwed over before the tie by having to play multiple qualifiers before our season even started against teams who were already well into theirs. Honestly the best thing to do would be to have both Legia and us drop in to the Europa League and give Maribor a place in the CL.

They were fined €0.00, however all poles they have in their employ are required to fit the plumbing for the new bathroom in the Uefa headquarters/parkhead.

 

Yes all of a Sudden UEFA is always right and all knowing, we don't deserve to be through but we are because of an administration error, don't act like we earned it, its not our fault, but we didn't earn it. Granted we will all still support Celtic but lets not act like UEFA is horribly inept and the qualifying system is broken when multiple league Champions our long out of the competition before some 4th place teams play their first game.
