OK, read your article. Once again I repeat, this is unjust and Berg was right about that and about UEFA. It's a travesty, in fact. Two important points, though:

1) at no point did the article provide any evidence that Celtic were involved in this in any way, so in what way does this taint our name.?

2) The earlier case Berg talks about refers to an ineligible player and not a suspended one. UEFA's rules are different in these cases and so the precedent doesn't apply. All the actual precedents for pkaying a suspended player resulted in an automatic 3-0 loss. Every single one of them. This was well covered earlier in the thread

I agree it doesn't make it right. It's completely unfair but not our fault or responsibility.

Re point 1: True. It was Solbakken in an interview on TV2 that says his team would have the honor not to accept such a decision which is clearly a shot at Celtic.

Re point 2: I agree. Debrecen is not a precedense here. There is no way that appeal is going to be won. Its just a standard thing to put one in and hope 51% of judges in Tribunal get drunk or something. I do think however that UEFA realized their mistake and point 21.2 will contain a word 'may' in it starting from next season. Again, no impolication on this situation anymore.

No, that's not how the world functions; but every step we have taken towards a fairer world has come through challenging unjust rules. I don't see why that shouldn't apply to football too. If you guys want to take this all the way to the European court and (against UEFA, not Celtic!) insisting on compensation and the rule being changed to better reflect justice and common sense, you have my total admiration and backing.
