You guys have been making these accusations about us refusing to sign a waiver and have been asked for a reliable source/evidence umpteen times and not one of you has provided any. I've been defending you all day because I think it is a disgraceful decision by UEFA but I'm sick of asking you guys this: do you have any evidence to back these accusations up? If not , kindly stop making these accusations based on nothing more tha rumour.

Seriously? And how any of this diving, or timewasting affected the score? It was 6-1 for * sake. Yeah, celebration of a goal that basically puts the game away against Celtic (a huge team in Poland, making it even more exciting) is a reason to dislike the team. They beat you fair and square on the field. On the green table you had the upper hand and that's what counts. Unfortunately i am the one who still wants to see sport and other things decided the right way, but its just being delusional and I admit that.

 

i did quote the source. It was multiple Polish journalist so not sure if you count it as reliable. There was also a Scottish journalist that inquired by Iwanski (from TVP) said that Celtic has no intention of signing such waiver. Again, it is all journalists on twitter so of course it might all be a hoax.

That thing about the letter is a load of nonsense.

I think Lawwell is still very much in the doghouse with a lot of the support, however he's off the hook for a couple of days while the hilarity of the situation with Legia sinks in.

It's stupid, unsubstantiated rumours like this that damage our reputation.

 

Rule number 1: Follow the rules.

You should be blaming your admin team not us, we didn't even know about it. Deal with it.

 

I'm not saying we deserved anything from the games, I'm saying that you were cheating from the start, diving and timewasting, and that neither your fans or players showed any class or dignity by rubbing it in our faces.
It's very ironic that the second penalty you missed (your players were as surprised as ours that it was given) would have made the crucial difference.

 

He hasn't went from villain to hero at all, people are just ripping the * right out of the situation.

The feeling towards PL and the Celtic board remains the same for most people.

You didn't quote the source; you quoted a Polish journalist, with ties to Legia (your words), who will not have been in the room. What is his source. That's what we need to know.

 

'Ineligible' and 'banned' mean completely different things in English, the language of the game.

Ineligible - Disqualified or unfit for use.
Banned - Officially and legally prohibited.

Fans are blaming admin team. They are also blaming UEFA moreso than Celtic. Honestly I think only single opinions I saw had Celtic as bad guys. But do check the foreign media (from Norway for example as they were covering entire situation). They are not even mentioning that waiver, but they are saying that Celtic should have admitted they lost fair and square and refuse the place in 4th round, and that it would be well respected decision.

 

The rules aren't optional, damian13ster, so you're talking out of your * when you say Celtic or anyone employed by Celtic is responsible.
