legia kicked out/Celtic re-instated *official*

I don't care if people hate us, as long as we're right. Hence my support of the right of our fans to sing ROH, BOTOB, etc. You misunderstand me if you think that's my main concern.

Not read anything from this thread, but it´s a bit embarrassing a day after our manager said the team isn´t good enough for the CL. A big * up by Legia though.

I will do, mate. As soon as the game comes around, I'll be as excited and nervous as I would for any other big European game. I'd be lying if I tried to pretend to Legia fans that I'm not thrilled to still be in it, regardless of my belief that the decision was very unfair. As has been said so many times: it really isn't our fault (I blame UEFA).

No doubt some of them will call me a hypocrite again, as if I can help how I feel.

 

We done nothing wrong why are you so upset at this and what does the right our fans have to sing songs have to do with Legia fielding a suspended player

Legia forfeit Celtic match

The UEFA Control, Ethics and Disciplinary Body has met today and announced the following disciplinary decision following the 2014/15 UEFA Champions League third qualifying round tie in Edinburgh between Celtic FC and Legia Warszawa on 6 August 2014.

Legia have been sanctioned for fielding a suspended player (article 18 of the UEFA Champions League regulations and article 21 of the Disciplinary Regulations). The match has been declared as forfeit meaning Legia Warszawa have lost the match 3-0.

As a consequence, Celtic have qualified for the UEFA Champions League play-offs on away goals (agg: 4-4) and Legia will compete in the UEFA Europa League play-offs.

In addition the player Bartosz Bereszynski has been suspended for one additional UEFA competition match for which he would be otherwise eligible. This suspension shall be added to the remaining two match suspension which the player still has to serve in accordance with the Control and Disciplinary Body decision of 13 February 2014.

It has everything to do with this idea that those of us saying the decision was unjust are motivated by a desire for everyone to like us.

Also, I agree, we've done nothing wrong; we're talking about UEFA here and whether tir actions were wrong.

How were the rules state if someone fields a suspended player the opposing team win 3-0 now if Legia had beat us 4-0 or 5-1 none of this would have mattered as they'd have been through and i suspect you wouldn't be making as big a deal
