    It wasn't even 3 days ago that every Celtic fan on this page were furious based on our teams performance and quality. Nothing has changed here! The team is still * and we are going through to the playoff based on a technicality after a 6-1 scudding by a very average team. All this does is take pressure of the board. The defeat to Legia was a blessing in disguise. Why fans are so happy that we go through after what we witnessed this week and last week is beyond me.

    Mixed emotions on his one.

    We were comprehensively thumped and deserved to go out.

    However plenty of other teams have fielded ineligible, or even named them on the bench, and have been kicked out of competitions.

    Very harsh on Legia, but I guess the same rules have to apply to everyone.

    Rule 24 sub section 2a states.......in the event of a scoring draw and one team is dumb as * and field a banned player then the other team wins 6-1 on pens and goes through.:icon_mrgreen:
