    TBH i have no empathy for them whatsoever.

    if they would have had a shred of dignity between their team and fans i would think differently, but their team and fans have shown a complete lack of respect in victory which sticks in my throat.

    When there is 20million + at stake it's a bit different, it's not arguing over a parking ticket. If they didn't register him, and it looks that way, then it looks a black and white case - we win the game 3-0. If the rules are ignored then we take it to CAS if we so desire.

    Completely agree. If they behaved like professionals and their fans with dignity, I'd actually prefer us to reject the idea of this. However, their behaviour, both fans and players, make me wish for them to be kicked out and I'd live to see Berg's face if it does happen.

    We'd be guaranteed europa league next season too if we are to replace Legia in the next round.

    Just read on BBC...

    "However, in 2010, Uefa fined Debrecen £15,000 but rejected a protest from opponents Litex Lovech, who wanted the Hungarian side kicked out of the tournament for fielding an ineligible player.
    Debrecen argued that they fielded Peter Mate in good faith as a substitute in Bulgaria when they were leading 4-1 on aggregate.
    Uefa ruled that Debrecen had "no interest in fielding this player for the three last minutes of additional time, when the score was so clearly in its favour".
    Should Celtic be reinstated to the Champions League, they will be seeded, with their potential opponents being Ludogorets Razgrad of Bulgaria, Malmo of Sweden, Aalborg of Denmark, Maribor of Slovenia or Slovan Bratislava of Slovakia."

    If the guy only played a few minutes as a sub when they were 6-1 up then surely common sense would say it had no baring on the result and they'll just get fined?

    Yous all sound pretty confident were gonna be reinstated. But for some reason I just can't get my hopes up.

    Rules and rules and must be followed. If UEFA played by the rule book they(legia) must be disqualified from the competition.
