Apparently Legia played an ineligible player last night.

Legia played an ineligible player the other night (for 4 mins). Looking like it could down as a forfeit and a 3-0 win for Celtic to put us through.

Nothing definite yet but you never know!

Their own website showed that he wasn't part of the 23 man sqaud for St Pat's game. If he was registered then we would hardly be having this investigation.

You've posted more tonight than you have in the last 6 years, only to say that we should "do the right thing" and ensure legia go through. I'm sure they will find a loophole ensuring they get away with it but if they do or don't we've done nothing wrong...if we get put through we can't say no

Last night Legia fielded a player - for 4 minutes - who was still under suspension. Precedent has it that Legia may have to forfeit the tie.

Personally I don`t think Celtic should protest this, we lost fair and square and that's it.

I think if common sense prevails they'll be fined, and I also think the lopsided scoreline might play a part.

Obviously I won't complain should we go through, and rules are rules, but it would be a real kick in the balls to Legia when they clearly deserve to go through.

Not an inelligible player, but a suspended one. We are just waiting to see if they registered him for the St. Pat's game. If they did, he served his suspension and there is no problem. In not, then it is a forfeit.

    * sake, it's not us that have challenged and and even if we don't and they get kicked out then it's tough *, their own fault. No riddy for us if that's the rules and UEFA make the decision

This could potentially be a * £20 million mistake they've made. I feel sorry for their club but if we get in then I'll soon forget about it :celt_2:

Maybe we can offer them a pre season friendly next year to make them some money? Oh no, wait there, did they not slash some of our fans? * them then.

Does anyone know when we're likely to get the outcome of this?
