How I see it too, mate.

 

If this comes true, once the CL qualifying draw is made I guarantee the majority of Celtic fan will be right behind the decision and forget about how it came about, hopefully then the club repays us with some decent signings but I doubt that - but it's all still up in the air.

They had an ineligible player, the Legia player was suspended, different rules for each offence and if the posts earlier are to be believed the only rule about fielding a suspended player states they forfeit the match 3-0

 

If it is overturned before the draw tomorrow then yes we would be seeded but if it is overturned afterwards we would take legia's spot and be unseeded. This is the same reason we got a really difficult europa league group several years ago. We took sions spot who were a pot 4 team.

Impossible to say mate – the page was last updated over a week after the game in question took place and two days after the return leg.

It could be:
(a) that he was correctly registered and UEFA have made a balls up;
(b) that they resubmitted the squad list after the game was played and it was updated on the site on the 25-07-14;
(c) that the squad updates dynamically and the squad listed there is their current squad and isn't the squad that was registered for that particular fixture;
(d) that he's listed there but that his paperwork wasn't filled in.

Doesn't really tell us anything. The only * that know are the chaps at UEFA and Legia.

 

If they decide before the draw we'll be seeded, if they decide after we'll be unseeded i think.
