They mean registered in their squad for the competition. Legia left him out of their squad it seems for the First round. So when they then registered him for the 2nd he was to be banned for both our games. They never realised that by not registering him for the first round they did not count against his ban.

 

Because we're more than just a football club. If I were an Aberdeen, St Johnstone or Motherwell fan, I'd take it quite happily.

Same sort of thing has happened before, but UEFA somewhat overruled it.

Why are people arguing about morals when this is a black and white matter for UEFA to decide? I honestly don't mind what happens to us either way as its down to Legia and their mistake, not us. Same rules apply to all teams, and if our opponents break one, why are some people saying they shouldn't be punished because "we were *"?
