It is indeed an embarassing mistake by Legia staff. Complete lack of professionalism on their part--I hope somebody will be held responsible for that.

TBF,if its in the rules of UEFA ,then they need to stick to it...if it involves us winning and going through on default its not our fault,and for the ones stating "he only came on for 4 mins and the game was already won"...the rules dont state that a game has to be won or lost or there has to be a certain amount of mins played by the inelligable player.....where would you draw the line? 5 mins? 6? 10? etc.....they need to stick to the rules..

Personally i wouldnt want to go through becasue of the pumping,UNLESS the greedy hobbit starts to flash the cash due to the extra money just recieved.....and also the newco bridgejumpers would fill up the clyde...this would be funny

Then there's obviously Sion but their cheating was more blatant and involved multiple players and blatant ignorance of the rules...

I suspect Legia will get a fine and nothing more. The case against Legia is almost exactly the same as the Debrecen case in that the guy came on as a late substitute and had little-to-no influence over the result. I suppose it depends as well on how tight UEFA's rules are now on issues like this vs. 2010 but on the basis of precedent I think the fine would be a fair punishment (vs. the result reversal in the Sliema game) given how * awful we were over the course of the two ties. Had Debrecen lost 3-0 by default I'd say otherwise but they didn't so meh not getting my hopes up.

 

I recommend the frequent use of the words kurwa and spierdalaj in your complaint

 

Debrecen fielded a player that was ineligible, the Polish cheats fielded a player that was suspended. UEFA take a dim view of the latter - 3-0 to Celtic, through on away goals. Thank you and good night.

What if nobody plays by the rules in the Champions League next season then by just ignoring player bans. Then UEFA couldnt do anything. Like imagine Barca just played Suarez and UEFA pulled them up wanting to overturn their results, Barca could just go "But what about Legia"... UEFA cant say "Aye but this is Suarez, the boy from Legia was a wee diddy" it would be one rule for good players and one for *.
