    i've got a knew one. how about a 3331,

    boruc

    doumbe kennedy mcmanus

    hartly sno riordan

    brown naka mcgeady

    mcdonald

could be a good formation for cover while attacking, and give you almost a six man defence when required.

Shakhtar 2004 is not the case, it's the exact same thing as Benfica last season. We tried to play but simply couldn't. And Last weeks CL game was the same, we got hammered for 20 mins, then we tried playing but couldn't do squat. Can't say about the Spartak match as I didn't see it, prolly right there

Aparently McGeady was *-hot today, maybe playing him on the right brings out the best in him?

Certainly hope so, although if Naka's fit for the game, I doubt it.

Good to see McDonald get his first Celtic hat-trick today, first of many hopefully.

Oh and to the people who said McDonald wasn't Celtic class last week and that Rangers would win the league, GIRUY

Not read previous posts, but here's my take on the game.

I thought McDonald and McGeady were different class today. McDonald has that poacher instinct about him that we've been praying for. McGeady was going past players like they were not there, and his overall game was brilliant today.

I also thought the defence played well today, especially the 2 centre backs, who I've been critical of recently. Doumbe did well too.

    Overall, a very pleasing performance.

I thought brown did ok......imo he was his usual dogged self

Naylor still looked a little suspect at times and Mo was a bit slack with some of his passing at times... although he got a couple of good ones in :celt_2:

I am still waiting for Killen to do something ...... like score a goal. He was gifted a couple of chances and fluffed them :97:
